Drake just dropped his hugely successful album “VIEWS” just one week ago and he is already back in the studio with French Montana making more music. In a recent clip from French he is actually rapping along to a new song of theirs and Drake says “Pump, Pump it up” right before the clip cuts off. This single line has got a ton of people speculating that he is going to be dissing Joe Budden on the track because Budden had a hit song back in 2003 called “Pump it up” and Budden has all been vocally negative about Drake calling him uninspired on on VIEWS. We’ll see whats really up when French officially drops the song or songs.

Just last week Soulja Boy was trending everywhere because he stated that he had just signed a $400 million dollar deal and no one believed it but we might know what that deal was now. Today Soulja Boy gave everyone more of a hint by posting a photo shaking hands with a man named Alki David who is actually a Greek Billionaire and own FilmOn. FilmOn is a internet streaming service where you can get all your movies, tv shows and then some. So it looks like Soulja Boy is the latest rapper to sign to the company but is it really a $400 million dollar deal? That remains to be seen but we’ll know soon enough.

A website called WeThePlugg.com is now suing Young Thug for $14,000 because he broke his promise to be a featured on a song by their contest winner. Young Thug was said to have received $5,000 from the company up front and would receive another $10,000 upon recording a feature for the winner of their contest. But Young Thug never responded to any calls after the winner was chosen and when they finally reached his manager they were told he no longer wanted to do it. Thug is being sued for the down payment of $5000 and damages.

Seems like only yesterday Kid Cudi was sharing the title to his last album but now we have new one on the way and he has just made the title known today. Taking to his Instagram Kid Cudi posted a video clip showing the title which is “Passion, Pain & DEMON SLAYIN’”. Hopefully this album is a lot less like his last album “Speedin; Bullet 2 Heaven” and more like his “Man on the Moon” projects but only time can tell so stay tuned.

During a recent show in Atlantic City, Ja Rule was performing one of his old hit songs “New York” when he was struck in the head with a beer can. TMZ managed to get video of the whole thing which you can watch below as well. But that wasn’t the end of it because Ja Rule jumped right into action telling his dj to cut off the track and forced the crowd to tell him who threw the can. After offering $1,000 to the person who points out the beer can thrower people pointed the person out when Ja Rule got the man in front of him he gave him a good smack and was kicked out.

Apparently Nicki Minaj’s ex, Safaree, who has stated in the past he is happy for her and has moved on is now suing her. She is said to be being sued for physical & emotional abuse and things did not end there because Minaj went on a whole twitter rant aimed ant Safaree saying things like “Two years later this poor excuse of a man is suing me & claiming to have been physically & emotionally abused. Lol. He’s so miserable”. She even states that he has been emailing her even after she and Meek told him to stop the emailing. Keep it locked right here for any updates on this and if Safaree has anything to say in his defense.

Drake will be heading to the “Ellen” show on May 18 for a rare television interview just after he does hits up SNL on May 14. Ellen and Drake made the announcement on their own twitter accounts and maybe Ellen can get some information out of him that fans want to know about like his relationship with Nicki Minaj at this point.

And just like that as quickly as he came into the game with his hit single “Tuesday” that had a huge feature from Drake in 2014, iLoveMakonnen is now saying that he will be retiring soon. In some recent tweets from the rapper he said that the rap game is wack and everyone is flexed except him which he says is his reason for retirement. So he pretty much ends his tweets saying that the fans will have him until 17 which means he may stay in the game the rest of the year but come 2017 he is out and that’s how it should be if you can’t handle the life.

Chance The Rapper was all set to take the stage tonight at a charity event in New York but was instead sent to the hospital for reasons that were unknown before. Thanks to a recent tweet out to his fans Chance let everyone know that he was hospitalized with pneumonia. The good thing for the charity event is that the show still went on with Joey Bada$$, Mark Ronson and Anderson .Paak too the stage for the great cause. Another great thing Chance reassured his fans of is the fact that his next mixtape Chance3 will still be dropping on May 13.

Now this story is starting to get pretty ridiculous but Bobby Shmurda who has been locked up since December 2014 has had his trail postponed again. The latest setback pushed it back to May 12 which is right around the corner but now it has been postponed again all the way until September 12. But this all is coming from Shmurdas own lawyers who seem to want more time to get their defense strong enough to beat the charges so hopefully we’ll see the outcome of all of this waiting in September.

During Beyones show in Houston there was a small group called the Coalition for Police and Sheriffs because they believe her recent music is anti-police. The group gathered outside of the NRG Stadium about a mile away and had a quiet protest shining a blue light at the stadium. Beyonce is not anti-police though people just aren’t doing their research she has even stated that she is anti police brutality towards people not against them as a whole. Hopefully people become more informed before they protest in the future.

Drakes latest album “VIEWS” has been a major success and already has sold over 1 million in its first week. Now it has been learned that Drake has twenty tracks of his all charting on Billboards Hot 100 singles for this week which is pretty impressive. Of the songs on the album every single one of them is charted except one track that doesn’t even have Drake on it. Haters can say what they want all day but Drake said it best “VIEWS is already a classic”.

“VIEWS”, Drakes latest album becomes his sixth studio album to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Drake saw 852,000 in traditional album sales in the U.S. Alone with another 245.1 million streams to go along with that. This is really amazing because this was sales on iTunes alone because it wasn’t not released on other platforms yet.

 

Just last month 50 Cent posted a photo with a kid in tears saying that it was his son he had just discovered. Now while doing an interview with Hot 96.3 50 admitted that the kid isn’t actually his biological son but that he treats him like he is because he wishes he had that type of relationship with his eldest son who is now 20 years old and has not spoken to 50 in 5 years. 50 even states that he doesn’t think his relationship with his eldest son will ever mend because of the sense of entitlement he feels his sons mother put in him.

This mothers day Kanye West took things to another level for the mother of his children, Kim Kardashian West. Ye had a 12-piece female orchestra perform privately for Kim in the comfort of their own living room. But that isn’t it Ye also gave Kim a huge amount of roses just to top things off.
