Now this is just sad either way you look at it but 50 Cent is now saying that all the money that he was showing off in his Instagram posts is fake money. As we all know 50 claimed bankruptcy just last year but was just on Instagram with stacks of cash showing off. Of course the judge in his case found out about this stunt and TMZ is now reporting that 50 is saying that all the money was fake. This just looks bad no matter what way you spin it so hopefully 50 gets his stuff together before he loses all credibility.

 

Lil Wayne put a halt to his private jet flight while at the Indianapolis International Airport after he noticed a military C-130 by his jet. Wayne actually told his pilot to turn the jet around and park it by the military plane. He then got out and gave the marines a pretty unexpected greeting and the gesture was deeply moving for a lot of the marines. The Staff Sgt named Robert Luther talked about it saying it made their day.

Yasiin Bey, previously known as Mos Def, had to go to court today in Cape Town, South Africa to get some legal details sorted involving his case. If you didn’t know already he was arrested for having a fake passport and staying way longer then his artist’s visa allowed. The court date was postponed while they investigate his case further and it was rescheduled for March 24^th. Hopefully the punishment isn’t too harsh for him at the end of the day.

Metro Boomin has been having a very successful years especially since he is Future’s go to producer. Now at just 22 years old he is making beats for everyone from Kanye West on his latest project to some other huge names. Now while doing the BBC 1 radio show Metro was asked about what is coming in the near future “I never ever really talk about things like this, but we in the UK so… I met Kendrick, and we were in the studio. He picked a bunch of beats out, been working on a bunch of stuff for Big Sean’s new album.” Metro told the radio host. So hearing this it looks like we can expect some real bangers from Big Sean and Kendrick in the very near future which should get fans real excited.

Taking to Twitter in his usual fashion Kanye West decided to let the world know his thoughts at the time. The subject of these posting was music distribution. “I was thinking about not making CDs ever again… Only streaming,” Ye posted to Twitter and then added  “the Yeezus album packaging was an open casket to CDs r.i.p… uuuuuuum, so there it is… No more CDs from me.” And finally makes it final by saying “uuuuuuum, so there it is… No more CDs from me”. So Kanye must be seeing some great streaming numbers from TIDAL if he is willing to drop all other forms of distribution like this but hopefully we’ll know for sure in time. As we all know Meek Mill has just started what will be his three months of house arrest and one of the rules he must follow is that he can’t record any new music. Now according to TMZ Meek is trying to have that rule changed because he has his own studio in his home and it must be killing him not being able to use it. Meek had his lawyer file papers requesting that he be allowed to use the studio still but we will see what the answer is soon so keep it locked for all updates.

Young Thug took to the streets of downtown Atlanta on horseback today with Lyon Cohen. No one knows why he did this at this point in time but it was definitely a sight to see. People are saying that it is for a promo for his Hy!£UN35 tour dates which was already pushed back two times. Kevin Gates latest album “Islah” has got a lot of love from his fans but while on a radio show he said that employees at Apple told him that he outsold Rihanna’s latest album “Anti”. Now this is pretty amazing because Gates makes some pretty hardcore rap compared to Rihanna more pop sound which is usually more popular. Kevin Gates went on to talk about Rihanna having Samsung buy $1 million copies to help her go platinum instantly was unfair and he would of been #1 on the charts with his album if she didn’t have that advantage.

Bankroll Fresh was shot and killed on Friday Night in front of an Atlanta studio and a lot of artist mourned his passing via social media. Young producer, Metro Boomin did a bit more by writing a long piece on his Instagram about Bankroll. “they took my brother Fresh and I’m hurt right now. very hurt. hurt is the only thing that’s been on my mind and heart since I was in magic last night. hurt was on my mind and heart when I woke up this morning. u always wanted to see niggas do good and be good. u used to tell us that once you good then we good and that you would do things the right way and not like the rest of these niggas. I’m hurt that this music shit has made everything so different and affected all of my personal relationships because of the high demand of work and the stress. but you were one of the few niggas that understood and still gave full support. I miss how fun and natural this shit used to be, before it felt like as much of a job as it does now. I miss recording songs at the house all night and u would just stay and sleep on the couch because you wanted to win as bad as I wanted to win. I hate how we did less and less as we both were getting more and more success. we were both so busy and never could even be in town at the same time anymore. Rich The Kid has just signed to Quality Control and has now announced that he has started his very own label. Now Rich has taken to Twitter to announce that he has signed his first artist and wants his fans to follow him. The artists name is Famous Dex and he is the first artist on the new label Rich Forever Music so hopefully they can do some big things.

Blac Youngsta which is Yo Gotti’s artist has been acting really reckless lately. Blac’s latest wild act was him showing up at Young Dolph’s hood with his whole crew all armed with weapons and then recorded it for the world to see. This beef started with Yo Gotti and Dolph having problems with each other because Dolph dropped his album the same day as Gotti with the title “King of Memphis” which Gotti and crew thought took as a sign of disrespect. Hopefully these are just empty threats from Blac Youngsta and this beef ends quickly.

 

Up and coming rapper straight out of Atlanta named Bankroll Fresh was shot and killed just yesterday. The murder occurred just outside the Street Execs Studio in Atlanta and it is also being reported that as many as 50 bullet shells were discovered on the ground. Police say that Bankroll Fresh(Trentavious White) was the only person killed and a ton of other artist from Juicy J to Earl Sweatshirt have taken to twitter to pay their condolences. Hopefully the police find out who did this horrible act and bring them to justice quickly.

But he talked about Joey getting Nas and Kirk Knight involved in their beef saying “But that’s what pussies like you do.” Troy also mentioned Joey’s friend who took his own life again calling him “ya roof jumpin bestie.” Troy is really going for low blows in this one over and over again making it seem like this beef will never come to and end.

Chief Keef has only been in the rap game for a few years and he seems to already want to retire from it according to what he tweeted out to his fans. Taking to Twitter Keef said that he has been retired and the fans just didn’t realize it. As for the reasoning behind it, he feels like there are too many other rappers trying to look and sound like him. Chief Keef even helped out his fans saying that they should become a lawyer or a doctor and not strive to become a rapper which is pretty good advice.

Speaking with Variety, a rep for Samsung has confirmed that TIDAL is not being bought by them. “The rumor of Samsung acquiring Tidal is not true,” TIDAL has had some key success with complete rights to “The Life of Pablo” streaming and having Beyonce and Rihanna on their side. But they will need a lot more then that eventually to keep up with Spotify and Samsung did look like it could boost the number of people using their service because their android phones are everywhere.
