Kendrick Lamar’s surprise album dropped tonight titled “Untitled Unmastered” and is pretty much made up of 8 extra songs he had. Each track is called Untitled followed by a number and the date the track was actually made which is a pretty cool touch. This is a great album to hold the TDE fans off until the next artist drops their album which could be Schoolboy Q just before the Summer. Top Dawg took to twitter today as well to say everyone should thank Lebron James for this because he tweeted at him to release all of Kendrick’s Untitled tracks.

In a brand new interview with 93.9 Fam in the Morning Rick Ross talked about many things including the recent Oscars. Now Chris Rock was the host of the awards and it wasn’t without controversy since many people actually were boycotting it. Now when Rick Ross was asked about Chris Rocks performance he had this to say “Nah nah, Chris Rock he a cornball. Let’s keep it real. I ain’t even finna kick it with yall like that, Chris Rock a cornball, and I’ma leave it right there, it wasn’t funny, stop. He ain’t the one. I’m not a fan of his.” This seems to be a common thing some people believe and others believe that he did a good job.

Fetty Wap had his debut album “Fetty Wap” come out last year but it has now been certified platinum by the RIAA. This is huge and really shows how much the streaming aspect counting now is really giving artist a huge boost though some don’t like this new way of doing things. With how catchy Fetty Waps songs are it really shouldn’t be surprising that he got here and just to break it down his major hit song “Trap Queen” is 4x platinum.

As we all know Kanye West’s latest album “The Life Of Pablo” has got rave reviews all around but it was only released on TIDAL for streaming. This fact really should of cut down the amount of people able to access the album but we wouldn’t know because Kanye actually requested that TIDAL didn’t share his albums streaming data. Now this is an interesting tactic but at the end of the day Billboard doesn’t need to have the numbers and it doesn’t change the quality of the music.

Troy Ave last night dropped a diss track for fellow NYC rapper Joey Bada$$ taking things really far to the point where he even brought up Capital STEEZ, a friend of Joey who took his own life back in 2012. Joey has now responded with the tweet “This brotha been buggin…..Get him TF outta here….No mercy for this man” and this tweet lead to an image of past tweets by Troy Ave where he called Nas a weirdo and a sucka among other disrespectful things. Azealia Banks is known to beef with just about anyone but one of her most talked about beefs was with Iggy Azalea. Now the Iggy Azalea beef has pretty much died out after all this time but it looks like Banks is starting it right back up. Now what initually kicked things off was Iggy in Elle Canada saying “I think the Azealia Banks thing is what really started it all. We don’t like each other on a personal level, and that has gone on for many years—before the Black Lives Matter incident happened. Even though I still hate Azealia Banks, I wish I had said it in a way that didn’t make people think I was oblivious to the movement.” Banks came right back after finding out about this via Twitter saying “Matter of fact. . Let me just kill this bitch.” And then she tweeted “Mentioning me is the only thing that will get you attention. Because ur music and nose job are trash”,” I’m about to take my pettiness to a whole new level”, and finally “Like, I’m about to do something SO fucking petty. You’re gonna be gagging all year”. Lil Wayne has just announced today that he is doing a feature for Chance The Rapper. Chance is one of the greatest new rappers and with a feature from Wayne they could take things to a whole new level. Lil Wayne made the announcement during a live stream video on LiVideo. 50 Cent just had his huge 21-bedroom,25-bath, 9-kitchen home sold for $8 million. The home was has actually been on the market for almost 10 years but it has sold today and TMZ reports that it may actually become an old folks home. 50 wanted $18.5 million for the house originally but now has sold it for only $8 million.

Top Dawg, the founder of TDE, has taken to his Instagram today to give everyone a huge announcement that he will be dropping one of his artist projects this week on a random day. This comes right after he posted the photo all of his artist and how far along their albums are. Now on his new post it is a picture of himself with the caption “Just 2 show niggas I’m not playing. Ive decided 2 drop a project 1 day this week. I won’t say wut day or who. It cud be 2nite So don’t ask me jus stay close to the net. Is this Kool with y’all?” This is a big surprise but who knows which artist it will actually end up being but all of them are extremely skilled so it is exciting either way it goes.

Rick Ross is now being indicted on a few charges that include aggravated battery, aggravated assault, kidnapping, and having possession of a firearm during a crime. This is all coming from his big event with his groundskeeper back in June of 2015 where he pistol-whipped him two times with a 9mm hand gun. Now Rick Ross’ attorney is trying to make the case that Ross was only doing the right thing because his grounds keeper was throwing parties with illegal drugs in his guest house allegedly. Before Kanye West announced the title of his album “The Life of Pablo” he tweeted out “That’s the new album anybody who can figure out the title gets tickets to Season 3 and free Yeezys”. Now a user of the website Reddit(Houston979) has actually come forth with photos of his Pirate Black Yeezy Boost 350s that he was sent by Kanye’s people because he guest the name correctly. Now he also says that there were around forty other people who correctly guessed it and they all likely got hooked up as well which is pretty cool.

Things are happening at TIDAL and these things are not good things with the termination of the CFO and COO. Speaking with Complex TIDAL gave a statement saying that CFO Chris Hart and COO Nils Juell actually were terminated from the company. The reasoning was stated to be the fact that the company was moving its account and operations to New York. Who knows who will be taking on these now open jobs but they will sure have a lot on their plate when they get there.

History is in the making once again because Kanye West hit the studio with Kid Cudi, Mike Dean, and Plain Pat. Kanye West’s Summer album “Turbo Grafx 16” is a real thing and now we know some of the people who will be putting the album together with Ye. Now we know that they were in the studio thanks to Kanye’s barber of 20 years taking a photo of the artist in the studio and even gave us the caption “TURBO GRAFX 16 day 1 #PABLo #MikeDean #CUDI #PlainPat”. A brand new lawsuit has been filed again TIDAL and Jay Z by an artist by the name of John Emanuele and Yesh Music LLC. The suit claims that 118 songs owned by Yesh Music that are by the band called The American Dollar are on TIDAL without the bands or Yesh’s actual permission. Another huge problem cited is the fact that they receive no royalties for the music. Now Tidal better get this sorted out fast because this does not look good on their record when they say that they are the best streaming service for the artists.

Fans of TDE artist like Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q, Jay Rock, Ab soul, etc will be happy to to know that founder of TDE, Top Dawg just today shared what albums are in the works for this year. Taking to his Instagram account Top Dawg posted a photo of a whiteboard with all of his artist who are bringing an album to the table this year and what part of the process the project is in. Now if everything on the board really happens this year TDE is going to have an amazing one and it looks like Schoolboy Q is dropping first and is only waiting on some sample clearances. After that we have SZA who is on 4^th stage creative when it comes to her album and Isaiah Rashad right after her in 3^rd stage creative. Then we got another Ab soul project dropping and is currently in the mixing stage plus another Kendrick album could actually happen but it has question marks beside it so it is questionable. Hopefully even half of these make it out because TDE already has an amazing track record when it comes to the music.
