Just yesterday it was reported that The Game would be having to pay $10 million to a woman, Priscilla Rainey, who was one of the contestants on his show “She Got Game”. Now after this came up he has responded denying everything saying that every other girl who was on the show ill back him up and say he did not touch this woman.  Game ended up taking shots at the woman saying she is a tranny and that she was trying hard to get his attention but was curved. So Game seems real confident that he did not do this but we’ll see what happens when the final judgement is made.

Suge Knight has been in prison for quite some time now after running over and killing a man in Compton. Things are not looking good for him because now Suge has lost some key privileges like phone calls, mail, and visitors. The order was issued last Friday by Judge William C. Ryan and he will only get to take calls and visits from his own attorneys. The reasoning for these tough conditions remains unknown but it has to have been pretty serious and his next court date is February 22^nd. Friday is going to be big for hip-hop with Future and Young Thug both putting out projects and you can feel the competition. Future today shared the artwork for his album and Young Thug made sure to tweet out in reply though not direct but was obvious who he was throwing shade at. Thug tweeted out shortly after Future saying “Boy slow down dropping all that BS music…” and then promoted his own album Slime Season 3 which drops the same day. Future tweeted out “Yo bitch wish u was me…in real life” and Thug came back with “Yo family/team wish u was me lil nigga….” and “I hope Apple save u lil niggas… Or church!!!!” So it looks like this beef is just heating up and could make it’s way onto tracks sooner or later.

A contestant, Priscilla Rainey, on The Games television show “She Got Game” says that Game allegedly “”forcefully reach[ed] his hand inside her dress to rub her bare vagina and buttocks.” She opened a sexual assault lawsuit back in August of 2015 but Game never responded to it at all. Him not responded lead the judge to automatically rule against him and he was originally sued by the woman for $10 million so we’ll see if he has to pay that full amount after the next hearing which is on February 24^th. $10 million is a huge amount of money for Game especially since we all recently saw how much he actually has in his bank account because of his giving to the Flint crisis. A few days ago rapper Kidd Kidd took to the stage at a 50 Cent concert to spit a diss at the whole MMG group specifically aimed at Meek Mill and Gunplay. The line that really set Gunplay on the war path was Kidd saying “Tell Gunplay he gon’ need gunplay if he wanna get his chain,” and that actually happened back in 2012 in the parking lot of the BET Awards. Gunplay responded today saying that he does not do the whole rapping back and forth thing but says that he will “slap the cat piss” out of Kidd Kidd when he sees him which is very believable. TIDAL leaked both the tracklist and album for Rihanna’s Anti album for a small amount of time and many people were able to rip it and get it all over the internet. TIDAL made sure to come out and blame the whole thing on Universal saying it was a “system error” caused by them. Now some executive at Universal has responded saying that it is absurd of TIDAL to say that it was their error and that they would of taken responsibility if it was indeed their fault the exec also said that TIDAL should focus more on trying to please Rihanna instead of trying to place blame on others. Where will this go from here? Who knows but seems like even the execs are beefing in the industry these days.

As we all know Kanye West went at Wiz Khalifa last week over a misunderstanding which lead to Wiz going as far as saying that Ye better run from him at his concerts. Now things have turned around completely Kanye has chilled way down and has spoken to Wiz having a conversation and putting everything to rest. Even Kim Kardashian and Amber Rose took a picture together last night at a club which is something people thought they would never see so things are looking good on all fronts. TMZ is reporting that Snoop Dogg had someone break into his SUV on Monday night and they got away with some important gear. Some things that were stolen included laptops, concert gear, and luggage which. The show Snoop has to perform is at the Regency Ballroom in San Francisco but though the stuff was indeed stolen Snoop isn’t going to let it hold him back and is still performing at the venue. Hopefully the people that stole his gear is found eventually.

CEO of the biggest rap collective on the west coast, TDE is not happy about the brand new RIAA rules that allow for streams and video views to add to your album sales. Anthony Tiffith the CEO of TDE is totally against these new standards and he made sure to let everyone know about it over Twitter. “we don’t don’t stand behind this RIAA BS. Ole skool rules apply, 1 million albums sold is platinum. Until we reach that number, save all the congrats. No cheat codes 2 platinum… #TDE.” He posted and though it is cool to like the old way of doing things the simple facts are that streaming is taking over and if they can find a way for it to equal out to an album sale then it should be taken seriously.

Everyone knows that whenever Kanye West drops some shoes they are very popular but who knew they would dominate Ebay. Stats were compiled by Kick Posters, Campless, and Highsnobiety for shoe purchases. The stats revealed that people were buying whole lot of Yeezy’s in 2015 with $12.6 million making them the most popular shoes on the site for 2015. Is this what Kanye meant when he said that he had jumped over the jumpman?

Future has had a bit of a hot streak over the last year dropping Dirty Sprite 2 last Summer and then having a mixtape with Drake in the Fall. But Future doesn’t seem to stop making music for his fans and DJ Khaled has just announced via his Instagram that he will be debuting Futures new album this Friday on his brand new “We The Best” radio show on Apple Music. This really shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise because Future is known to have a ton of projects already completely just waiting to be released but it is still amazing to see this much new music out of someone who has been in the game for a good while now.

Okay now this is really unexpected because Rihanna’s new album “Anti” was given away to one million TIDAL subscribers in 15 hours and was certified platinum before even hitting store shelves. Billboard is reporting that Rihanna’s latest highly anticipated album “Anti” had 4.7 million streams and debut at number #27. The reasoning for such a low position is entirely because those 1 million free copies given away simply do not count and they put her actual copies sold right now at about 460 which is not a good look.

RIAA(Recording Industry Association of America) are the people that give out the gold and platinum awards for records. Today they made a huge change that effects a ton of artists giving Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp A Butterfly platinum and Big Sean’s Dark Sky Paradise as well. The way it works is like this for every 1,500 video views or song streams it is equivalent to having 1 album sale which may seem like a ton for 1 album but for the artist of today who get a huge amount of stream and video views it is perfect.

Rita Ora wants out of her contract with Roc Nation and opened a lawsuit against her label saying that they focused way too much on their athletes and not enough on their artists. Now according to TMZ Roc Nation is fighting right back counter suing Rita for $2.3 million in an attempt to get back the money they put into the marketing for her second album that has yet to see the light of day. Just to break things down Rita signed a ten year contract with Roc Nation and had to come up with five albums in that time span and this was back in 2008. Now since 2008 Rita has only had one album called “Ora” which was released way back in 2012. Reports from Ora’s attorney are that Jay Z has already agreed to let her go so we’ll wait and see if this gets settled clean.

During a 50 Cent concert we all know he invites the beef no matter where he goes and this time 50 had Kidd Kidd hop on stage at the Highline Ballroom in New York. Kidd Kidd got on stage and let the people hear the MMG diss he had been working on. “Drake could’ve fucked yo’ bitch if it wasn’t for Wayne / Let’s play a game of truth or dare, dare you speak my name / And tell Gunplay he gon’ need gunplay if he wanna get his chain.” So it looks like Kidd definitely has a problem with a bunch of people in MMG and he is not afraid to let it be known.
