Kanye West has just dropped a brand new single called “Real Friends” on us that is sounding a lot like the Kanye we all know and love. Now Ye has officially given the world a release date for his highly anticipated album called Swish. Ye took to his twitter which is a rare thing for him to do and announced that the album is dropping on February 11 2016 so we are only a month away. And this month is going to fly by when we have brand new tracks from Kanye every single Friday. His tweet is below so let the hype build.

Top Dawg Entertainment has made a huge name for themselves in the music industry with artist like Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q, Jay Rock, Ab-Soul, Isaiah Rashad, and SZA. In a brand new interview with MTV the president of TDE, Dave Free, says that they have a ton more music on the way with SZA, Isaiah Rashad, Ab-Soul, and SchoolBoy Q all set to drop projects within the year which is pretty amazing. Lupe Fiasco is an amazing artist but he has seemed to fall on hard times and had really slowed down. Now he is picking things up and releasing three albums this year which will start with DROGAS and then he will drop Skulls and finally Roy. But just today Lupe has confirmed that Roy will not only be the last album in the set of three this year but it will be his final album he makes in his career. This of course is not what fans wanted to hear especially since he said he would be working on a project that wouldn’t be ready until winter 2017 called The Cool 2 but it seems like that might not come to light.

TMZ is reporting now that T.I. is actually being sued by a jewelry company called Aydin & Co which is based in Georgia for $700,000. The lawsuit claims that T.I. actually got to a debt of $400,000 over the last decade with their company with his most recent purchase being he paid $20,000 for a 18.5 karat white gold bracelet that was worth $64,000 and that happened back in 2014 so of course this company is after him now. Kendrick Lamar was the music guest tonight on Jimmy Fallons The Tonight Show and boy did he deliver. Just like Kendrick did it last time on the Colbert report performing his song “Untitled” Kendrick gave viewers of Fallon “Untitled 2”. This song is on another level and will leave the fans very happy with the pure talent and energy K.Dot puts into this performance. Like the first untitled track Kendrick dropped there is no telling if we will actually see this track released. Check it out below it is a must watch.

Awesome news has just come out from Kim Kardashian West herself when she took to twitter tonight. Kim announced that Kanye West will be dropping brand new music every Friday so hopefully we should be getting a brand new track real soon or at the latest next Friday but no one is complaining. Swish seems to be so close the fans can taste it so it’s only a matter of time. Keep it right here for any further updates.

50 Cent was sued by Rick Ross’ baby mama named Lastonia Leviston because he had released her sextape online. The judge in the case ordered 50 to pay her a huge sum of $7 million but the problem is this all went down when 50 was filing for bankruptcy which is a little odd. Now 50 is actually asking the judge to cut the payment down to $1.6 million because of the bankruptcy. Now will have to wait and see who the judge sides with in the end. As previously reported on Hopsin the co-founder of Funk Volume has been having a lot of trouble with other co-founder Damien Ritter. Now artist art leaving and things really seem to be falling apart and just today Hopsin made his way to his facebook page saying that Funk Volume is now “officially dead”. Rick Ross and Lira Galore had got engaged pretty quickly into their relationship but now it looks like things have come to an end. Even back in November the two were said to have broken up but got back together pretty quickly. Now she has done an interview with Global Grind and says this  “I think the initial breakup was a combination of everything from people digging up tweets when I was 17-years-old tweeting about different people, to the picture of Meek, I went to his (Ross’) tagged photos one day and it was only that picture of Meek, and it was just that photo. Everybody just kept posting it and I felt like as a man, he just couldn’t handle it when it was just nothing. I feel like during that time apart he realized he was tripping, so we got back together.” So it looks like Ross could not handle Galore’s past which is perfectly understandable when it has to do with someone signed under you. “We just decided to go our separate ways, I’m 22 and this was my first time in love and I put it out there. I’m still in love with him, but some things don’t go as you would like them to go.”

Everyone knows that Dj Mustard has been a goto producer for the west coast sounding beats for the last year. Now it looks like Travis Scott who is becoming a more and more popular artist every day will be tapping into this style of production because Mustard took to twitter to announce that the two have a track arriving soon called “Whole Lotta Lovin”. It will be really interesting to hear what Travis Scott can do on a Mustard style beat but there no doubt that It will be a hit.

Now this must only be because Nick Young is Iggy Azalea’s fiance so he is extremely biased but in a new interview with Billboard Nick actually said he believes Iggy will have “the best album of 2016”. Nick says the reasoning is that Iggy has been putting in long ours at the studio putting hard work into it which is a could thing but there is some major competition coming out this year with Big Sean, Pusha T, Travis Scott, and Kanye West just to name a few. But who knows Iggy did say she was reinventing herself she might just come back and blow some people away.

It was recently reported that Janet Jackson had throat cancer but today Janet has decided to clear all of that up. Janet has taken to her twitter today and posted a clip that and with one simple quote cleared up the whole situation. “Remember… believe it when you hear it from my lips. The rumors are untrue. I do not have cancer. I’m recovering. My doctors have approved my concerts as scheduled in Europe, and as I promised, the postponed shows will be rescheduled.” So it looks like Janet is fine and will be back to her tour soon enough which is awesome news.

The Game has recently taken to his Instagram to rant in defense of Bill Cosby. “Y’all put Dr. Huxtable in jail off of word of mouth,I’m not here to say these women are liars or not because RAPE is a huge deal & I don’t wish that on any woman of any color… But whether or not he actually did anything, we won’t know because of the lack of evidence or proof & the duration from the point of the alleged assault to now…. Why did it take these women over 10 years to bring this to the light ? & while we out here laughing & making memes of a 70+ year old man who practically raised us all on tv as children.” Game wrote in his post. He is not the only rapper showing support for Cosby either with Waka Flocka recently sharing his thoughts as well saying he believes Bill is being framed.

A 14 year old girl named Molly O’Malia has had a press conference saying that Tyga was texting her and trying to facetime her. Plus she is suing OK! magazine for leaking screenshots of their text messages. Now someone in Tyga’s crew has spoken out about the situation saying that Tyga was only reaching out to her because she could sing and only wanted to facetime so his people could hear her. As of right now that is all anyone has on the situation but it doesn’t help her case that in the leaked texts she said she was 17.

Back on the 27th of December it was found out that Janet Jackson would be putting her “Unbreakable” tour on hold. Now we know the reasoning behind this move is the fact that the 49-year old singer has been forced to get treatment for throat cancer. A doctor has said that if the cancer was in her Larynx then she would not have a singing career afterwords. This is horrible news especialliy coming from such an iconic pop star in the industry keep it locked for any further updates.
