September 30, 2016 a public viewing was held for(Carlos Walker) Shawty Lo in Atlanta hundreds of fans showed up to pay their respect to the DFL member, Rick Ross, Young Dolph and Royce da 5'9" will hit the stage to honor the late rapper. The viewing took place at Mt Carmel Baptist Church after the funeral Shawty Lo casket was driven around Atlanta for one last ride threw the city. "RIP Shawty Lo"
