In a new Instagram post from 50 he tells his fans why his EFFEN vodka is better then Diddy’s Ciroc. There are 1700 calories in a bottle of Ciroc which happens to be the equivelent of two Mcdonalds Big Macs. Then he holds up his EFFEN vodka which is sugar-free and the caption for the post was this  "I want to have TURN UP but I don't want to be on dialysis. #NOPUFFYJUICE till they clean this up." 50 has no chill and we’ll see if there is ever a response to this.

Dex Osama, a 26 year old Detroit rapper has been shot and killed this morning in his very own hometown. Noisey has reported that Dex had been shot just outside the Crazy Horse club at 2 AM and was said to have ran to a nearby gas station after being shot telling the attendant to call 911 before he collapsed and was declared dead at the Detroit Reading Hospital. Some rappers have spoken out on this tragedy including Meek Mill who said this “MAY GOD BLESS HIS SOUL! Never let them streets shatter ya dreams!!!".

Earlier on in the year Afroman was in the news for punching a woman in the face because she approached him while he was on stage. Afroman was detained by police and now the case is finally hitting the courts. Afroman plead guilty to the offense and has got a “six-month suspended jail sentence” and this includes drug tests, anger management, and $330 fine which is actually getting off pretty easy and with any mistakes he gets an automatic six months in prison.

A man was shot and killed outside of a concert for Lil Durk that was going down in Philadelphia. The shooting happed at 8:30 pm last night with a 25-year old man being hit in the abdomen and was pronounced dead at the hospital. The police are saying that there were three suspects and they have been taken in for questioning. There has been no word from Durk at this time or any of his people but keep it locked for updates on if they have anything to do this situation.

The highly anticipated debut album from TDE’s Jay Rock is now on the horizon but fans did not know exactly when they could get their hands on the album. Jay Rock has today let everyone know the official release date of his album “90059” which will be on September 11. Jay Rock simply tweeted out “9-11 #90059” so fans should be really excited.

The Weeknd has been having a really good year and has a very strong fanbase. The Weeknd has had very successful singles like “I Can’t Feel My Face” which has been the number one song in the country for a while now and this has lead to his album getting amazing sales. “Beauty Behind The Madness” sold staggering 325,267 copies in its first week and 415,267 if you include the streams. These numbers actually put The Weeknd above all other Rap and R&B artist out this year in first week sales besides Drake.

Lil Herb whose new name is G Herbo has signed with Cinematic Music Group. This announcement was made during a press release just today. "G Herbo has the life experience, lyrical dexterity, and the vocal inflection of someone far beyond his years, no one in the game paints a more vivid picture of young street life in America like G Herbo." Herbo will be releasing a mixtape called “Ballin Like I’m Kobe” soon and will be going on his “Smoker’s Club Tour” this coming fall.

Vince Staples believes that Miley Cyrus needs to apologize for comparing herself to Kendrick Lamar. Taking to twitter today Casey Veggies shared the release date and cover art for his upcoming album “Live & Grow”. This album will have thirteen tracks with features like BJ the Chicago Kid, Tyler the Creator, and Ty Dolla $ign. This album also has some crazy production from Dj Mustard, Hit-Boy, Tyler, the Creator and more so it is sure to turn some heads and fans should be getting excited. The album is out on August 7^th. The rapper out of Harlem took to twitter to take shots at Miley Cyris and Nicki Minaj just today. “Miley Cyrus HAS to know her shit is whack as fuck. It has to be a joke... Isn't she making fun of herself? Yes? No?” Azealia tweeted out referencing the brand new free album Miley just released the night of the VMA’s.
