JUDGE HITS DMX WITH 1 YEAR IN PRISON 3 YEARS PROBATION

During mediation, X's lawyer, Murray Richman, played the rapper's music video for "Slippin'" to demonstrate how hard DMX's life was.

The judge gave him 365 days behind bars, to be followed by 3 years of supervised release. Federal prosecutors had been pushing for its maximum sentence -- 5 years in the slammer -- to send a message to the rapper, particularly if he failed a drug test while he had been out on bail and obtained delivered back into prison.

DMX is going back to jail for 12 months for tax evasion, also, in a sense, it is excellent news. Prior to the agreement, he had been facing 14 counts and 44 years resisted.

DMX dealt with the judge straight Wednesday from the NYC court and took responsibility for his activities. He stated he had been too old to do what he is doing, also confessed he has not been thinking right.
