Meek Mills is set to testify against Philly Cops

Rapper Meek is set to take the stand next week in a case where he is suing the city of Philadelphia and members of the police department for what he says was an unnecessary detention in 2012.  Meek who is from Phlly was detained by police after his car was stopped on Halloween night that year.  The officers stopped the rapper because they smelled weed coming from his car. The officer wanted to search the vehicle but Meeks would not allow them too he told them they are going to have to called the dogs.  The officers did call in the drug sniffer dog which did from the presence of drugs.  During his 9 hours in custody Meek miss scheduled events and he lost a deal worth $1.3 milllion with Puma because of negative press.  Andre Boyer and Alvin Outlaw are the two officers named in the suit.  Boyer has since been fired after a Police Board inquiry found that he had committed several violation surrounding a seized and he also had numerous civilian complaints.  Officer Victoria Ayres is accused of mocking Meek situation on Instragram.  Meek lawyer said the officer posted a picture on social media site with the caption "Talk about Dreams and nightmares,(album title) Meek is sitting in hand cuffs courtesy of the 22nd District I'm rollin! Maybe he'll sign our copies".  Meek is seeking compensation for anxiety, embarrassment and unlawful stop.
