No Contest is what rapper Kanye West is pleading in Misdemeanor Battery in LAX assault case. On July 19, 2013 Kanye West was involved in a altercation at Los Angeles Airport and the incident was caught on tape. Video shows West trying to take a camera away from a photographer who spoke to the rapper-producer as he was trying to exit the airport. West was charged with battery and attempted grand theft. The grand theft charge was dismissed. Kanye West pleaded no contest to the incident. West has been placed on probation for 24 months and he has to attend 24 therapy session for anger management. He also have to serve 250 hrs of community service and he has to pay for the damage to the photographer equipment. If he do not violate his probation, the case will be removed from his record.
