What is Hip-Hop Squad? It is a special unit of NYPD officers who job is to investigate parties in New York that feature the hottest rappers of today, these rappers are on their "Watch List". A source said that all New York club owner are require to inform the Squad in advance if anyone on the list is coming to their club. The officers on the squad job is to try to curtail violence on the hip hop scene by going to clubs and shows in plain clothes.
So far the "Watch List" includes Drake, Chris Brown, French Montana, Fabolous, Wiz Khalifa, Young Jeezy, Fat Joe, Jim Jones and LIl Wayne. The squad was recently in the Bronx at Jennifer Lopez show because French Montana and Fat Joe were coming.
