Rap star T.I. is ready for a name change! Clifford Harris also known as T.I. feels that his stage name has no meaning. Growing up Clifford's childhood nick name was TIP and many still know him by that name. When starting his rap career T.I. was advised to to change his name because of the popular Q tip from Tribe Called Quest and they wouldn't want to confuse the 2 artist, so it was suggested that he drop the P in TIP and that is when T.I. was created. We will have to wait to see on the next album if he goes back to the name TIP or maybe something else but we will keep you posted.
