YG has announced the title of his Def Jam Records debut.

During an interview with AHH, the rapper revealed that his debut album will be titled Welcome To Bompton, a hat-tip to his hometown of Compton, California.

I’m turning the C to a B, so niggas gonna be talking, like oooooooh... that shit gonna be hard, yeah that’s gonna be hard. And it's my first album, it’s like an introduction at the same time, it's my first album, like my introduction to the whole world.”

Additionally, YG has enlisted Young Jeezy to executive produce the project. The relationship developed after recording the Cardo-produced "Playin," which also features Wiz Khalifa and was included on his most recent mixtape Just Re'd Up 2.
