Back in January of 2014 Dr. Dre and Jimmy Lovine started up Beats Music but it was lackluster and did not stand up to the competition. Since then Apple bought Beats out as a whole and with it bought Beats Music for $3.2 billion. Now with Apple Music doing well they really have no use for Beats Music but it has just been announced by Apple that they will be shutting down the service on November 30th. So looks like if there were any remaining Beats Music users they will have to make the switch to Apple Music.
