A person named JV, who claims a garments organization, got a trademark for "Respek" in 2005 and has been selling shirts and caps with the word for a considerable length of time on his site ThisRespekwear.com
JV is rankled that Bridman's tirade, "Put some respek on it," has burst into flames and the magnate has apparently made a huge number of dollars offering coats, shirts and different schmatas with the expression.
JV's legal counselor shot a letter to Birdman, debilitating to sue. In the letter, acquired by TMZ, the legal counselor doesn't particularly request that Birdman quit offering the things, however just says "call me."
