50 Cent is not cool with fellow rapper Rick Ross at all and he continues to show this via his Instagram posts. Today 50 took to his Instagram to post a picture just outside Rick Rosses brand new WingStop he opened in New York City. 50 added the caption “A fat chicken,selling chicken 🐓 them people know you got a ass whooping coming lol” So 50 definitely isn’t happy Ross is opening his chicken joint in his city but keep it locked right here for further updates on this ongoing beef.
Trick Daddy was on The Breakfast Club radio show recently and during the interview he commented on the state of the rap game. “Four out of five new artists come out sound like Future. Three out of five of ’em look like Young Thug.” He said in the interveiw. Trick went on talking about how he doesn’t like the femine way rappers dress these days obviously talking about Young Thug. Young Thug caught wind of this and took to twitter saying “Dear trick daddy..😭😂😭😂 Mr. #TRICK TRICK DROP YO OLD PUSSY ASS OUTSIDE A CLUB, PUNKED YO TEETH OUT AND IS STILL BREATHING #OLDPUSSY FREEZE ME” and finished by adding “Again #BreakfastClub IS THE DEVAaaL…. UMA DO EM LIKE GUWOOP DID EM IF THEY CALL ME DOE….” Young Thug has not been shy when it comes to snapping back at people who talk about him in a way he does not like but who knows if that is really a good thing.
Back in January of 2014 Dr. Dre and Jimmy Lovine started up Beats Music but it was lackluster and did not stand up to the competition. Since then Apple bought Beats out as a whole and with it bought Beats Music for $3.2 billion. Now with Apple Music doing well they really have no use for Beats Music but it has just been announced by Apple that they will be shutting down the service on November 30th. So looks like if there were any remaining Beats Music users they will have to make the switch to Apple Music.
As previously reported Metro Boomin and Young Thug had a beef going on over social media because of Metro saying that rappers should not try and reach Futures level. But this seems to have been squashed and we know this because Metro Boomin took to his twitter and posted “There was a misunderstanding with real emotions but it’s resolved. Thugger my brother 4 life,” which is a clear sign the beef is done.
2 Chainz appeared in the latest episode of Rap Radar’s podcast and he shared some really interesting information. In the podcast Chainz says that his next album will be called B.C. which stands for Before Chainz. “It’s gonna be called B.C., like B.C. and A.D. B.C. is Before Chainz,’ obviously. A.D. would be like After the Dope Game,’ After the drugs, everything is a different feel. But B.C. is done. It’s Tity Boi. It’s nostalgic.” 2 Chainz says. He did not stop there though 2 Chainz then announced that he actually has a project with Lil Wayne in the works called “Collegroove” which will be dropping very soon so fans of both artist should be pretty excited right about now.
Fans of Joey Bada$$ know him for his 90’s throw back look and sound so when he deviates even the slightest from his norm the fans react and not in a good way. Just yesterday an artist named G Herbo dropped his track called “Lord Knows” which was produced by Metro Boomin and featured Joey Bada$$ and is not the last song he will have featuring Joey. The track is very hard which Herbs fans enjoyed because it is in tune with today but Joey’s fans were not happy about it because he is never on club banger type records. Joey Bada$$ did not take this from his fans taking to his twitter saying “If you have a problem with me expanding and experimenting my sound, you’re just as bad as the critics who marginalizes me to 90s music.” Joey posted and added “If you ain’t down for the ride just hop off the bandwagon now.” So Joey is not letting his fans box him into a specific genre and style which is a good thing in the long run even if he loses some of his following.
Spike Lee’s upcoming film “Chi-Raq” has stirred up plenty of controversy already because of it’s depiction of Chicago. Tons of drill rappers from the city felt as though the film was a little too far on the comedy side and expressed their displeasure online. Now, Nick Cannon, who plays a Chicago gangster rapper in the film has release his song “Pray 4 My City” which has a ton of footage from the actual film and of course Nick rapping which is interesting because it is not his style at all. Kid Cudi has an album right around the corner called “Speedin’ Bullet to Heaven” but what was just announced today is that he will also be going on tour. The new “Especial” tour will be starting out in Denver on November 30th and Cudi will be going to 16 different cities in the United States and it all comes to an end on December 22nd. Tickets should go on sale really soon so fans should keep an eye out for those and more tour date location announcements.
Future seems to not stop making music and this becomes even more apparent when in a brand new interview with XXL Southside of 808 Mafia had some crazy claims. Southside said in the interview that Future has six whole albums and three whole mixtapes ready to go at a moments notice. “He got six more albums ready right now, literally, and three more mixtapes to go with it,” he said. This is a crazy work ethic that Future has but as long as the projects are at the quality of his last couple projects no one is complaining.
Everyone knows Snoop Dogg for two things, his music and his love of marijuana. So it should be no surprise that Snoop is getting involved in a more business oriented way by starting his very own cannabis line which is to be called Leaf. “Since I’ve been at the forefront of this movement for over 20 years now, I’m a master of marijuana, so naturally, my people can trust that I picked out the finest, freshest products in the game. Let’s medicate, elevate and put it in the air!” Snoop said during an interview in Colorodo on Monday. Snoops line will have everything someone could want from flower & concentrates to edibles. Chief Keef does not slow down when it comes to his music grind putting out a total of 11 songs in the last two weeks alone. The songs he dropped were not just singles but apart of a full mixtape projects which are Back From The Dead 3 and Finally Rollin 2 which will both arrive for the fans at the end of the week. Keef will have a mixtape drop on Friday, November 13th and on Saturday, November 14th which is pretty impressive so long as the quality of the tracks and projects as a whole is amazing which isn’t always the case.
As everyone should know Vivica A. Fox was pretty much calling her ex boyfriend 50 Cent gay on national television and 50 Cent was not having it. 50 Cent did his usual thing and started roasting Vivica on his Instagram yesterday but he has not stopped and posted two more today. One clip 50 calls Vivica a “crazy bitch” just after she is shown saying how much she cares about him. The other post was 50 saying her acting audition for the show Empire was equal to Sesame Street with with the cookie monster with the comment saying “Vivica acting out how she eats ass on her Empire debut.” Who knows how long this will go but 50 never seems to really let any beef go.
Metro Boomin just resently went on a twitter rant saying that no other artist should even try to jump on the Future trend. This did not sit well with Young Thug who took to twitter himself to question the young producer. Thug started off his tweets questioning Metro asking who he was referring to then saying “Put some names on that shit lil boy @MetroBoomin”. Young Thug then went on to say that Future’s music is nothing like his saying he is Micheal and Future is Tito. A ton of disrespect from Thug and these two were supposed to have a mixtape together in the near future but we’ll see if actually comes to light.
Azealia Banks is in legal trouble after she allegedly got into a fight with a security guard after he had kicked her out of a club. The whole thing was captured on camera by Break Room 86 which is a club in L.A. The security guard says that when he was showing her out she tried to pull the fire alarm and he pulled her away from it which lead to Banks and her friends attacking him. This is definitely not a good look for Azealia Banks who already has a pretty horrible reputation.
Legendary member of old school rap duo Mobb Deep, Prodigy, has a new lawsuit suing universal for taking 50% of his royalties from his solo albums. The lawsuit is happening because that arrangement was only supposed to be for Mobb Deep’s albums not his solo albums. He is asking for $57,489 in royalties from universal plus the lawyer fees and hopefully he gets what he deserves.
