Larry Johnson who is a writer is now suing 50 Cent for $200 million saying that 50 had stolen the idea for the show from one of his very own manuscripts. Johnson says that he actually submitted the said manuscript back in 2005 and it was called “Tribulation of a Ghetto Kid” to an employee of 50 named Nikki Turner. Similarities are they both main characters with a goatee who was a drug dealer wanting to become a businessman while owning the hottest night clubs in the ATL and NYC and have a partner with a hot temper. This is not a good lawsuit to have up with all the others 50 is currently in but keep it right here for updates.

DMX has been in jail since July serving a six month sentence and his son decided to take this opportunity to sell some of his very important stuff. TMZ is reporting that his son Xavier need some cash to give his own music career a boost and decided to sell his fathers platinum plaques on eBay. DMX left the plaques when he was kicked out of his house that he shared with Xavier and his mother back in 2007. The plaques for “And Then There Was X” and “Flesh of My Flesh, Blood of My Blood” have been posted on eBay for the sum of $3,000. Young Dolph was arrested in Memphis just yesterday after he was caught with marijuana and also had some vehicle registration charges too. Dolph had been pulled over at 2:45 PM because he had the wrong tags on his Rolls Royce and of course cops smelled marijuana when they approached and found that Dolph already had a warrant out on him. Kanye West saying he is going to run for president in the year 2020 has made a lot of people outside of the hip-hop universe turn their heads and see whats up. The New Yorker will feature Kanye West on the cover which will be the first rapper ever depicted on the prestigious magazines cover. The cover is comical because it has a water colored Kanye celebrating beating Donald Trump while holding up a newspaper that reads “TRUMP DEFEATS KANYE” which copies a famous photo of Harry Truman holding up the Chicago Tribune with the headline “DEWEY DEFEATS TRUMAN”. Illustrator of the image, Barry Blitt, says this “When one considers Mr. West, it doesn’t take a whole lot of imagination to be reminded of another scrappy kid who won the Presidency, back in 1948, against all odds. The press wrote him off, too. That’s right—Harry Truman.”

DJ Yella did an interview with VladTV where he revealed that he was the only member of N.W.A. to actually show up to Eazy-E’s funeral. “Some people probably just couldn’t take it, I don’t know what the reasons are. We never talked about it, even to this day. That subject will never get talked about.” Yella said. Yella also responded with this when asked about the conspiracies about how Eazy-E got Aids. “You never know, All we know is he died from [AIDS]. He had it, he was diagnosed with it, but we don’t know if somebody gave it to him [by] putting it in a syringe [or] whatever. We don’t know. We’ll never know. We just have to accept what it is. Daz Dillinger has got a cast together to make the Dog Pound biopic. This film seems to be happening really quickly with none of the cast from “Straight Outta Compton” involved who knows if it will be successful. The film is said to pick up with Dogg Pound and Death Row following careers of both Snoop Dogg and Tupac. Fat Joe of Terror Squad was one of the first people Eminem gave his demo to way back in the day. In a new interveiw Fat Joe talks about this and says he actually passed on signing Eminem six times. “Man I got so many regrets, the biggest is that Eminem gave me so many demos – six different times he approached me and I didn’t sign him. Shame on me.” Eminem signed to Interscope in 1998 at 25 years old after giving the very same tape to the ceo Jimmy Lovine who gave the tape to Dr. Dre and history was made.

Meek Mill was headlining the Fools Gold Festival in Brooklyn and a fan of his decided to throw up a Drake sign during Meeks performance. This got Meeks attention real quick leading to him calling out the fan and he even went as far as to send a “shooter” from his crew to stand next to the fan. This is what Meek said to the fan “Put that Drake sign up again, nigga, fuck you talkin’ ’bout you fuckin’ clown. Travi$ Scott got a little extra wild during a recent show of his that caught a lot of social media attention. During a recent show Travi$ felt that the fans just were not turnt up enough so he decided to bark at them saying this “I ain’t cool with none of you f*ggots who just sitting here looking like a bunch of queers. 50 Cent never seems to stop clowning on his well known enemies and this time he has his sights focused on Diddy. In a new Instagram post from 50 he tells his fans why his EFFEN vodka is better then Diddy’s Ciroc. There are 1700 calories in a bottle of Ciroc which happens to be the equivelent of two Mcdonalds Big Macs. Then he holds up his EFFEN vodka which is sugar-free and the caption for the post was this  “I want to have TURN UP but I don’t want to be on dialysis. #NOPUFFYJUICE till they clean this up.” 50 has no chill and we’ll see if there is ever a response to this.

Dex Osama, a 26 year old Detroit rapper has been shot and killed this morning in his very own hometown. Noisey has reported that Dex had been shot just outside the Crazy Horse club at 2 AM and was said to have ran to a nearby gas station after being shot telling the attendant to call 911 before he collapsed and was declared dead at the Detroit Reading Hospital. Some rappers have spoken out on this tragedy including Meek Mill who said this “MAY GOD BLESS HIS SOUL! Never let them streets shatter ya dreams!!!”.

Earlier on in the year Afroman was in the news for punching a woman in the face because she approached him while he was on stage. Afroman was detained by police and now the case is finally hitting the courts. Afroman plead guilty to the offense and has got a “six-month suspended jail sentence” and this includes drug tests, anger management, and $330 fine which is actually getting off pretty easy and with any mistakes he gets an automatic six months in prison.

A man was shot and killed outside of a concert for Lil Durk that was going down in Philadelphia. The shooting happed at 8:30 pm last night with a 25-year old man being hit in the abdomen and was pronounced dead at the hospital. The police are saying that there were three suspects and they have been taken in for questioning. There has been no word from Durk at this time or any of his people but keep it locked for updates on if they have anything to do this situation.

The highly anticipated debut album from TDE’s Jay Rock is now on the horizon but fans did not know exactly when they could get their hands on the album. Jay Rock has today let everyone know the official release date of his album “90059” which will be on September 11. Jay Rock simply tweeted out “9-11 #90059” so fans should be really excited.
