TMZ is reporting that Lil Wayne and his crew were on a private jet and they wanted to smoke weed but were told no by the pilot. They all ignored the pilot and lit up anyways and the pilot turned the plane around 17 minutes into the trip. Wayne was also reported to have had a double cup that was filled with a pink and purple liquid which we can all assume was sizzurp.

Nicki Minaj’s hit single “Anaconda” did not get a Video Music Award nomination this year and Minaj was not happy about it. Nicki took to twitter to saying “Black women influence pop culture so much but are rarely rewarded for it, if your video celebrates women with very slim bodies, you will be nominated for vid of the year”. Taylor Swift who was nominated for her hit song “Bad Blood” felt that Nicki was throwing shade directly at her and tweeted out “I’ve done nothing but love & support you, it’s unlike you to pit women against each other. Maybe one of the men took your slot..” Though Minaj quickly replied saying that Taylor was not the target of her tweets but it seems pretty obvious that it was. After the huge shots fired at Action Bronson by Ghostface Killah via a video posted online Action took to twitter apologizing to Ghostface. “When ur wrong ur wrong and I was wrong. I apologized for the comments. I’ll always be a stand up human. Much love.” And “If only more people apologized when they knew they were wrong.” This apparently did not help his situation with Ghostface because when he was question by Revolt on if her actually forgave Bronson he gave a very quick no. Following 50 Cent filing for bankruptcy it seems 50 Cent is trying his hardest to make people believe he doesn’t really have that much money. Maybe this could be because the case that will have 50 paying $5 million to Rick Rosses baby mama and he just can’t have that but Page Six is now reporting that a lot of 50’s possesion are rented or borrowed. Lambos, Roll Royces, Bentleys are all rented according to 50 Cent and his gold chains are recycled and claims to only be worth $4.4 million and not the huge $155 million that forbes has been saying the last few years. If this is true it is pretty amazing that we are just now finding this out and if it is not 50 Cent will really do anything to hang on to that $5 million.
Wale will be performing at the White House as a part of Michelle Obama’s “Reach Higher” initiative for education. There have been a ton of comparison between Action Bronson and Ghostface Killah lately. Bronson was on the show SportsNation and talked about Ghostface Killah and the camparison people make saying that Ghost isn’t rapping like he does anymore. This caused Ghostface to set his sights on Bronson and he has now released a video directed right at Action. “First of all you little fat fuck, who gives you the right to even mention my name out your motherfucking mouth,” he said, as a smooth Teddy Pendergrass record played in the background. “Boy you done made a mistake boy. Jeezy has now made it known he is not cool with Donald Trump taking to twitter today to share his thoughts on Donald Trump. “We don’t need @DonaldTrump representing us as americans. His hatred in his most recent statements shows he’s not a legitimate candidate.” Jeezy said in his first tweet before adding “He’s just making a mockery of the presidential candidacy to help build his personal brand.” Finally Jeezy adds “Our latino brothers and sisters are a big part of this country and shouldn’t be used as your agenda.” Trump has been getting on everyone’s bad side and things aren’t looking very good for him.
TMZ is now reporting that the police believe that members of the Bloods were the ones who broke into Chris Browns home. Plus a club promoter is said to have been involved and they all knew that Brown was keep $50 grand in a safe inside of the house. Kanye West had premiered music videos for his hit song “All Day/ I Feel Like That” way back in March during the Paris fashion week. Now it is being reported by the New York Times that Ye will debut the music video in the United states this coming Saturday. The New York Times described the video like this “Filmed in a single nine-minute take at the Chatham Dockyard in southeast England, the video follows Mr. West through an empty warehouse as he runs, crouches, dodges, raps, rants, sweats and pants, as if being pursued by the camera or the police or in pursuit himself, until he slumps against the wall to catch his breath. At several points Mr. McQueen’s focus is so tight that Mr. West’s face cuts in and out of the frame. At one point, the camera keeps its distance as Mr. West raises hands above head in a gesture of surrender.” The video will only be available to view at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art on July 25 and will loop for four days.
Chance The Rapper is now saying that he has made a complete album with Lil B. Chance has been working on projects with many people including Childish Gambino and just recently Donnie Trumpet & The Social Experiment. Now chance has taken to instagram and posted a picture of him and Lil B with the caption “Made an album with Lil B.” This is an odd mix but hopefully it spawns some good music for both of their fan bases.
A snapchat has come to light that show Lil Wayne and Rich Homie Quan in the studio together. So we can expect some new music from the two of them and it makes sense with Quan just recently parting ways with Birdmans Rich Gang and Lil Wayne parting ways also trying to get as far away from Birdman as he can. A couple months ago T.I. said the name of his upcoming album would be Trap’s Open and said it would be gangsta. Now in a new interview T.I. has revealed that the title has been changed to The Dime Trap while keeping the same general concept. “It’s going to be an extension or a continuation of the vibe from Trap Muzik, I feel like, when you’ve done hits like “Whatever You Like” and “Dead and Gone,” when you do those mainstream kind of “Blurred Lines”-ish kind of records, you don’t go and try to top “Blurred Lines.” You just come to a whole new element, bring it back down and build the process back over again. I’m breaking it all down, back to the element of where my music first began to interest people, and build it all over again.
Young Thug was arrested recently for making threats to a mall cop after being told to leave the mall. When he was lead outside he threatened to shoot the mall cop in the face which lead to an arrest for terroristic threats. Thug was released on Thursday after paying a $10,000 bail but now he has to deal with the fact that police raided his home giving him additional gun and drug charges plus being named in the indictment for the Lil Wayne bus shooting.
