Kanye West only post to social media once in a while but when he does people pay attention. So when Kanye took to twitter yesterday and said “I’m finishing my album and my next collection...” people get excited. Then he tweeted out “no offense to anyone… I’m asking everyone DON’T ASK ME FOR ANYTHING TILL AFTER I’M FINISHED WITH MY ALBUM” So it looks like Kanye is going into full focus mode and the album could be coming really soon.
As we all know Jeremih just released an album called “Late Nights: The Album” but his label, Def Jam sold it for 18.99 which is extremely high for an album these days and now he has really low sales because of it. As we reported before 50 Cent spoke out first over social media telling the world that Def Jam is not treating Jeremih right but now Jeremih himself has decided to speak up. Taking to twitter Jeremih posted “@DeafJamRecords y’all don’t even deserve my voice” he then states that he is not mad because the album was price at what it was priced at but the fact that the stores got hardly any copies shipped to them. Kevin Gates recently took to his Instagram to post a video of himself getting escorted out of a mall by police officers. Gates in the post says that he and his friend were kicked out of the mall for absolutley no reason at all. As the world found out recently Meek Mill could be heading back to prison but now we may have a reason why. Meek while in court claimed that he failed his drug test because he was drinking protein shakes and that caused his urine to be cold and clear like water. Nicki Minaj also took to the stand to say that it was actually the case but the judge doesn’t seem to believe it at all and it does sound really weird. Masika Kalysha is a former cast member of the show “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood” and she is a actress/ singer and she has just revealed that she is pregnant. The problem is she says that she is pregnant with Fetty Wap’s child and Fetty Wap does not believe that. "So, um, the song I did with Fetty [Wap], 'Ándale,' ladies, be careful when you listen to this song because we conceived a child that night." Masika says but Fetty has taken to his twitter to call her out for trying to ride his hype train and get a ton of money from him. Fetty Wap has deleted his comments though so who knows there could actually be some truth to this but we’ll have to wait and see.
Wack 100 is the Manager of Game and he is now infamous for being the person to finally knock out Stitches with one punch. He called up a radio show and talked about the situation "At the end of the day, I can respect his movement, we don't tolerate no disrespect. He's a kid. He ain't been living long enough to be living with certain people and certain situations." Wack went on to say he hopes that he woke Stitches up to the real world so he can see that it is not a game and with Stitches only being 20 years old he has a lot to learn still.
Radio host Ebro from HOT 97 has problems with Rae Sremmurd’s debut album “SremmLife” after it came out to be number three on their top 50 albums list. Ebro claimed that Rae Sremmurd doesn’t deserve that spot because they don’t write their lyrics and their music is made up of all club bangers. Now producer Mike Will Made It who basically discovered Rae Sremmurd did not take kindly to this accusation and had a back and forth over twitter with Ebro. Mike said if they didn’t write it who did and Ebro said that he did and Mike basically just said all he does is make beats. Number three on a list of albums this year is way too high so Ebro is right but all of his accusations are a little strange with no actual proof.
A top off a year full of highs and lows Meek Mill could be right back in prison again. Meek took to his Instagram to post a picture witht the words “Prayers go up, Blessings come down.” On it and the words “I'm actually fighting for my life and freedom ... Something I've been going thru from a case I caught at 19 years old and been on probation since... I am 28 now ... It's funny to see people on the internet laughing and joking about me and my family going thru these things, it's just shows me where the world is at nowadays! As the Lil Wayne v Birdman war wages onward more people seam to start putting their two cents in. Recently we found out what Ross thought about the whole situation siding with Lil Wayne and now we find out Pusha T agrees and does not respect Birdman as well. In a new interview with Mike T Push was asked about his thoughts on how Ross feels about Birdman and he Pusha T thinks he is a thief. "If you steal something, that's just corny. If you steal something and you steal it contractually, that's like the lowest form of a thief. It's like a cat burglar. It's not even respectable in no way, shape, or form," Pusha T says. A man by the name of Quintavius Waters was gunned down in Southwest Atlanta at his own home on Monday. He was found by his roommate with a gunshot to the head and with no sign of a forced entry the police believe whoever did this horrible act was invited inside. In response to Chance The Rapper not like his take on Chicago, Spike Lee in a brand new interview with MSNBC calls Chance out saying he is pretty much a hypocrite because his father works for Chicagos Mayor. "First of all, Chance the Rapper should say full disclosure: his father works for the mayor, His father is the chief of staff. Show me any criticism. If you're so concerned about Chicago, do your research, show me where he's made criticisms about the mayor. I think your finds will be surprising. He's not criticized the mayor. Why? As if Kendrick Lamar doesn’t get enough praise from the people now he is getting some presidential praise. Kendricks last album “To Pimp A Butterfly” was a major success this year despite the sound being totally different compared to everyone else and he has got 11 Grammy nominations to prove this. Barack Obama actually said that a song off of the album is his song of the year as well. Talking with Peoples magazine he revealed that the song “How Much A Dollar Cost” is his favorite song of 2015 which is pretty amazing and what other artist could say they made a song that was one of the presidents favorite songs.
T-Pain has not put out music in a very long time but that has changed because he just had a 30-minute performance at NPR’s Front Row concert. T-Pain had a live band behind him and does some classic songs and even debuts a brand new song called “Officially Yours”. Future announced just this morning that he will be going on a “Purple Reign” tour early on in 2016 and will be bring Ty Dolla $ign along with him. The tour at this moment has 22 dates locked in and is set to start on February 17th in the city of Madison Wisconsin and then heading east then south and ending out west in San Jose on March 19th. The Weeknd’s most popular song “The Hills” that has been playing non stop on all radio stations for months is now getting him sued for the sample used on the track. A report by Hollywood Reporter says that Cutting Edge Music Limited has actually filed a lawsuit against The Weeknd saying that his very own producers had illegally used a sample that was originally in the 2013 film called “The Machine”. The major win for the company is that they have a tweet in which the co-producer of “The Hills” tweeted the man who scored “The Machine” saying that he sampled it.
