The Weeknd’s most popular song “The Hills” that has been playing non stop on all radio stations for months is now getting him sued for the sample used on the track. A report by Hollywood Reporter says that Cutting Edge Music Limited has actually filed a lawsuit against The Weeknd saying that his very own producers had illegally used a sample that was originally in the 2013 film called “The Machine”. The major win for the company is that they have a tweet in which the co-producer of “The Hills” tweeted the man who scored “The Machine” saying that he sampled it.
