Lupe has deleted his twitter account once and for all saying that he wanted to “go back to the shadows.” When asked about his not wanting to be relevant Lupe had the following to say. “I don't want to be relevant today. I don't want to be the go-to guy for the club song or to speak on all the dumb shit that's going around. I'm happy being that somewhat sophisticated, overly deep weird guy making powerful music -- but just two or three degrees away from the center of attention. There is a new generation speaking to a new generation, so you have a Kendrick Lamar and a J. Cole and the other people who are the new Lupes. I don't have the same lingo. I don't sip lean or smoke weed. I can't compete with a Wiz Khalifa for the attention of a 12-year old.

After Chris Brown traveled without permission last weekend, to perform, his probation was extended: "Though he has shown the ability to be compliant during long stretches of his probation grant, (Brown) continues a pattern of making choices that are counterproductive in his ability to be successful on probation," Chris Brown’s probation officer states. “There is also concern that when he performs or attends at (sic) some of his public events, people will get shot or seriously injured."

In many interviews involving Erick Sermon, he is asked about Wendy Williams. During this most recent interview he was asked about Wendy’s career:“Wendy Williams had implicated a lot of people into where she was getting her job. And a person like me, I never thought that it would get that far. So, when I heard all these names get brought up besides me, I think it was a ploy for her to get where she get with stardom. You know what I mean? Cause people already knew me…Again, I could have easily put that dirt on her. As far as what she did. And how it went down. Cause she was a fan of mines. Me and her were friends, the whole nine. And then for her to do that it kind of made me look at what happened with Puffy. When Puffy got her fired and people was—And her and Treach had the argument. You start hearing Red and Meth. You start hearing people like that. I knew ‘Oh, this is a big game.’ This is a big ploy for her to get famous because all of a sudden it’s 1,000 names.”

David Roach, Pine Bros. Vice President was recently interviewed about their boost in sales: “Pine Bros was growing anyway, because our word of mouth buzz is insanely high,” he said. “If you try Pine Bros., you’re hooked. But certainly Waka single-handedly doubled sales, I’ll say that, and maybe tripled.”

Usher and his girlfriend, Grace Miguel, who is also his manager, have got engaged. Having been together since 2009 after Ushers divorce from his ex-wife Tameka Foster he had this to say about Grace. “I have an incredible partner and manager. She has helped me through some of the hardest times in my life and my career.” Though the couple hasn’t announced the engagement yet several close reliable sources have confirmed that it has happened and they are very happy but are keeping the news quiet for now. A film based on Tupacs life is going to start production this coming June with the film’s producer Randall Emmett confirming it the long-awaited film is actually going to come together. The main thing that was holding the film back all these years were the rights to Tupcas original music. The movie will cover from Shakur’s early years into his mainstream success and finally his untimely death.

A while back Tyga was sued by a former business partner, Last Kings designer Glennon Marrero for $10,900. The designer claimed he was never paid for his designs that were used by Tygas company. The court date came and went and Tyga failed to show his face and is facing a $10,000 fine. Tyga says that he gave Marrero a piece of the company which is not really getting paid for his designs. Marrero hasn’t worked for Last Kings since 2012 so hopefully this dispute gets settled quickly.

17-year old, Gage Garmo who suffered from a very rare bone cancer, passed away on January 12. Gage was a huge fan of Eminem, who had surprised him just the day before at Garmo’s home. “Family members told staffers at the Rainbow Connection that Garmo died early Monday evening -- a day after the rapper fulfilled the 17-year-old's last wish by visiting him at home in Rochester Hills,” (The Detroit Free Press Reports).

2 Chainz debates with Nancy Grace on a recent marijuana case. A 19-year old man reportedly forced his 18 month old niece to smoke marijuana. Nancy made comments that suggest that marijuana should not have been legalized, causing 2 Chainz to disagree: “It’s the same thing we talked about earlier, darling, with the legalization of alcohol,” he said. “You’ll find some footage like this but everyone is not doing this. Some people actually love their child. Some people know that that’s obviously wrong. So there’s nothing to really argue about. These people are imbeciles. You can’t use this case to define a whole community.”

Nearly everyone has seen the footage of the shooting that took place at Chris Brown’s club performance, Chris finally spoke out about the situation: "None of these bitchass n*ggas bout that life," Chris told Music Times. "The most ignorant n*ggas ever! This ain't no western. What idiot u know gonna stand there and get shot. Rewind clip to LA when I wasssss the dumb one standing up by myself in the club when people were panicking and ducking for cover. After being hounded by fans, 50 Cent answered their questions about his collaboration with Eminem: "Yeah, he got a new song together on my new album. So you'll get a chance to hear that shortly. I'm going to release a date shortly, but it's definitely coming out," he said. "I pushed it back to release the G-Unit EPs: The Beauty and Beast. It's just now the focus on completing the record for me."

The last weekend on Saturday The Weeknd was in Las Vegas and around 4:20 AM at the Cromwell Hotel when a fight broke out. The fight was broken up by police and The Weeknd was pulled into an elevator by one of the cops. At this point the officer says The Weeknd punched him in the head which lead to his arrest for “battery of a protected person” and he has already out on bail. Both Common and John Legend have one a golden globe award for “Best Original Song” for their track “Glory” that was featured in the soundtrack for the film Selma. This is Commons first golden globe award though he does have Grammys for collabs with Erykah Badu and Kanye West in the past. This is John Legends first golden globe while he does have nine grammys under his belt.
