Childish Gambino is not someone who is booed normally and is actually very well respected in the rap community. This was not the case though when Childish did a show at The Cambridge Hotel in Newcastle, Australia. The show was supposed to be more then an hour but he is said to have not said a word for nearly 40 whole minutes spending a lot of time sitting near the back of the stage and getting on the turntables while some members of his crew rapped to his lyrics. Promotion is said to have been mixed up and it wasn't a Childish Gambino show but a Childish Gambino DJ set so he cancelled his next show and hopefully things get cleared up.
