2014 to 2016 almost 3 years the Standing Rock protest is finally over, the protest start when the pipeline was rerouted and directed toward near Standing Rock Sioux Reservation witched threatened the native water supply and violated their treaty. After being shot with rubber bullets and sprayed with freezing water Army Corps of Engineers denied a permit for the pipeline to be built near Standing Rock. Hip Hop celebrated the victory Alicia Keys and Common shared a drawing by Rick Frausto with a Native American saying attributed to the Cree Indians.
