5 armed gunmen broke into Kim Kardashian's Paris apartment, taped her mouth shut and stole a reportedly more than $10 million in jewelry. The news of the crime quickly rippled its way to New York ... where Kanye was in the middle of performing his hit “Heartless” when concert goers witnessed a member of the rapper's entourage interrupt the performance and whisper something to Kanye. He immediately made a brief comment to the crowd that there had been a family emergency and that he was leaving. Kanye then bolted from the stage mid-concert. The gunmen, posing as cops, threatened the hotel concierge and made him open the door to her room. TMZ sources say at least 2 gunmen bound and gagged Kim with handcuffs and tape and then put her in the bathtub. We're told Kim pleaded for her life be spared, telling them she had babies at home. It appears the gunmen knew exactly what they were doing, beelining it for her jewelry and are believed to have taken a $4.5 million ring and a jewelry box.
After the gunmen left Kim was able to break out of the restraints and called for help. TMZ has been quoted saying “We're told Kim was badly shaken but unharmed, calling it "the worst moment in my life." She was interviewed by police and then immediately left Paris by private jet.
