Macklemore & Ryan Lewis are being sued for jacking beats for Neon Cathedral and hit song Thrift Shop. According to a "legendary" New Orleans jazz musician Paul Batiste Thrift Shop has a mixture of "Hip Jazz" and "World of Blues" the beat horns melodies come from his tracks that were recorded 17 to 20 years ago. Paul Batiste has also filed suits against T-Pain, DJ Khaled, and Rick Ross I'm not sure if he won any of these cases but we will keep you posted.
