Previously Lil B was a firm supporter of Hillary Clinton but now it seems he has changed his mind and now supports Bernie Sanders. . “Once the people started telling me about Bernie Sanders and comparing what he was doing back in his younger days and what [Clinton] was doing, It made me kind of look at her different — not really respect her as much as I thought. She didn’t have any part in trying to march against segregation. She was just a follower.” Lil B said.

Tyler, The Creator had to cancel his Australian tour

Just days after Tyler infamously tweeted out that he was banned in Australia it comes out that his tour in Australia has officially been canceled. “We would much rather come to Australia when it isn’t surrounded in controversy. I love my fans there and hopefully I’ll be back soon. Don’t do drugs,” said Tyler in a statement to Frontier Touring. This comes just after a womans rights group targeted Tyler and created a petition to ban Tyler and crew from performing in Australia. Hopefully this doesn’t effect Tylers work too much and he can get right back to it for fans of his music.

Kendrick Lamar will be the very first musical guest on “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert”

Kendrick Lamar got the honor of being the final musical guest on Stephen Colberts Comedy Central show “The Colbert Report”. But now it seems the Kendrick really resonated well with Stephen but Kendrick will be the first musical guest on Colberts brand new late night show on September 8th and will give everyone an amazing show as usual. No clue what song or songs Kendrick will be performing but make sure to tune in.

AR-AB Releases a Diss Track about Meek Mill

After listening to Meek Mill’s diss to Drake, rapper AR-AB took offense to hearing his name on the track. AR-AB just dropped his new song about Meek:“I caught a body before I wrote a rap, you’d rather hold a mic, I’d rather hold a Mac/Just left jail, guess I’m going back/I put a hole in your stomach, make ’em sew it back/I ain’t got a Rae I ain’t got a Ghost/I just got a plate with a lot of coke/I got a lot of tape and a lot of rope – why you diss me, need to diss Drake/That n*gga killed you, First 48.”

F. Gary Gray Compares N.W.A’s Message to Current Politics

The “Straight out of Compton” director, F. Gary Gray compared current political message to those of N.W.A’s song: “I have a responsibility to tell the story as accurately as possible. I didn’t want to teeter one way or the other. I think it’s pretty sad that it’s still relevant in its relationship to law enforcement, but I’m optimistic that a lot of the headlines we’re experiencing will put pressure on the leaders and law enforcement to really change. We can’t keep going down this path, in the way that we’ve been going without changing. My responsibility is to the film first and it’s just pretty much a coincidence that it’s all happening at the same time.”

Mos Def Responds to Lupe Fiasco Challenge

Many people had their hopes up once Lupe Fiasco accepted Mos Def’s challenge to battle him; however, by the looks up a recent interview, Mos def is taking back the challenge: “I stand behind the statement but at the same time I’m not trying to arrange some sort of exhibition. It’s threatening to turn a fair portion of the thing into a gladiator tournament. … There’s a lot of people out here who’s a**es I think I could kick but I’m not out here trying to arrange fights with them.”

 

Gunplay Discusses Meek Mill and Drake Feud

Everyone has tuned in on the beef between Meek Mill and Drake; Gunplay was recently asked his opinion during an interview: “As long as nobody say my name I’m alright. It’s good for Hip Hop and as long as nobody lose they life. There’s too many innocent lives lost. Too many talented lives lost. I like how they keeping it [on] record. Keep it on wax, radio, tours. Nobody kill each other, please.”

Dr. Dre drops “Compton: A Soundtrack”

Dr. Dre has not dropped an album in 16 years but that changed today when Dre dropped “Compton: A Soundtrack” for all of the fans of hip-hop. The album has 16 tracks with huge features from the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg, Xzibit, King Mez, and Candice Pillay. Another awesome thing about this album is that Dr. Dre will be donationg his entire portion of the royalties for the album to build a performing arts center in Compton. Tyga lost his passport and had to miss a movie shoot

Tyga was supposed to film for an indie movie called “Sleight” but he was unable to make it to the shoot because he has lost his passport getting stranded in St. Tropez. The movie is a thriller about a street musician that begins selling drugs and Tyga will be playing a villain in the film. Producer of the film had this to say about Tyga missing the shoot  “I am disappointed . . . We had hoped he would walk on set and blow us away with his talent, but we take our productions very seriously, and when an actor doesn’t share our sense of professional commitment, we have to do what’s best for the film.”

50 Cents huge mansion with a whopping 21 bedrooms, 9 kitchens, and its own casino is going into the rental market. This comes after 50 Cent had filed for bankruptcy which tells us that he couldn’t continue to pay the insane $72,000 a month. A man has been arrested for the shooting at J Coles concert

A 27 year old from New Jersey named Quran Powell has been arrested for a recent shooting at J Coles show in the PNC Bank Arts Center. Police raided Powells apartment in East Orange, New Jersey and arrested him on two counts of attempted homicide and the possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes. Powell is now in Monmouth County jail with a bail of 750,000 and is said to have shot a 23 and 24 year old man in the parking lot of the Cole show and as of yesterday both victims were in critical but stable condition. Tory Lanez says he Ghostwrote for Meek Mill

In a recent interview, rapper Tory Lanez claims he ghostwrote for Meek Mill in a song that came out in 2014. “I wrote the August Alsina record on the Meek Mill album that’s about to come out,” says Tory Lanez. The Irony is that Meek Mill tried saying that Drake ghostwrites his music during their feud: “He don’t write his own raps! That’s why he ain’t tweet my album because we found out!” Meek said, “He ain’t even write that verse on my album and if I woulda knew I woulda took it off my album….. I don’t trick my fans!”

Rich Homie Quan Suing T.I.G. Entertainment for 2 million Dollars

Rich Homie Quan is suing Think It’s A Game Entertainment for supposedly not paying him his share for his songs “Type of Way” and “Flex”. Allegedly the CEO of T.I.G. spent Rich Homie Quan’s earnings on a new home and kept the remainder to himself.

The rapper has now ended all involvement with the company and is hoping to get his part of the deal.
