Stevens filed docs from California to register the judgment in the state -- the first lawsuit was in Georgia -- and begin the process of collecting money from your rapper. Stevens can go after the assets and land in the state of Da Brat by registering the ruling in California. This was one hell of a bottle.
Stevens sued following the incident -- while the rapper was wrapped up serving a sentence. A jury saw the rapper liable and given Stevens a total of $6.4 million.
Da Brat hasn't paid a dime into the ex-cheerleader she was found liable for hitting in the face with a bottle in a nightclub and now she owes her an additional $1 million for refusing to pay up.
The rapper was prosecuted by former NFL cheerleader Shayla Stevens above a 2007 nightclub attack where Da Brat hit her in the face with a rum bottle. Stevens asserted it caused damage pain and her permanent scarring.
