On August 1st Female rapper Remy Ma released from prison after serving six years of an eight year sentence at Bedford Hills Correctional Facility for shooting a member of her entourage in 2007 over missing $3,000. Her husband showed up at the facility on July 31st her original release date but he was told that she would remain in custody due to disciplinary action. Official at the facility said she is was being held due to a "third party call" which took place on July 21st. That is the same day the rapper call Power 105 Angie Martinez and told her that she was excited to get back to work. Luckily Remy only remain locked up an extra day.
