The missus and Xzibit are currently suing for $250k. For its part, Edge Water informs us they only ceased working because they were told by Xzibit he wasn't going to pay for the $ 178k he still owed to them. They say he demanded to see their own receipts, and if they denied he take off the financing ... plus so they also walked.
Xzibit says the folks in Edge Water Construction were supposed to set up the fire, outdoor hot tub, a brand-new pool and water feature wine bar, garden cabana and a whole lot of other products that were sweet. Overall cost was supposed to be $397k.
Edge Water claims that they uphold their own work, and state it was signed off about by an inspector.
Xzibit and also his wife are gunning for the guys they had to build them a lush backyard oasis ... asserting they screwed it all up and did not even complete the project.
However, according to a suit, Edge Water took more than initially scheduled to perform the work ... and even if everything they have done was defective. For instance, Xzibit claims the pool had sharp edges that cut on his kid's feet.
In the suit, '' he says parts of the swimming pool and spa weren't correctly waterproofed -- that sounds like job number1 when creating a pool.
