“GO:OD AM” is the title of Mac Millers upcoming album that many fans can’t wait to get their hands on. Good news for anyone in the Pittsburgh area though is that Mac will actually be having a 5-day long festival for the release of the album which is a pretty huge deal. Rick Ross has apparently went onto the property of his baby mama and stole a BMW that belonged to her that he happened to have paid for. Shes says that Ross stole the car that actually rightfully belongs to their son. Tia Kemp (baby mama) took to her instagram just this morning posting a picture of her son in front of the BMW with the caption "Stolen Car Alert!!!... Diddy will no longer be facing any criminal charges for the attack of a UCLA coach back in June with a kettlebell. There will be an informal hearing on October 15th according to TMZ with Diddy, his lawyer, Mark Geragos, and other parties who were involved. Though it may seem like it Diddy is not completely free he may still have to attend anger management or something similar to that.
Two small time rappers have decided to call out T.I. saying that he owes the estate of the late rapper Doe B, who signed to T.I.s label back in 2012, $100K. Doe B was killed at just 22 years old in December of 2013. The tweet from the rapper named Perry Boi read “FUCK #HUSTLEGANG” and another saying that T.I. owed Doe B $100,000 which was soon deleted. T.I. was furious and left this message on their post "I see it…. U want some shine…. But that ain't gon do it fa ya…. You got no talent…. I did my part cuz. Doe was on his way to becoming da Notorious BIG of da south. And yall let him get killed in yall city that yall supposed to run,& now because u can’t find another opportunity that’s what Doe was u lookin to point da blame elsewhere. Typical. It is being reported that it looks like Travi$ Scott and Rihanna may be dating now. Rihanna has been promoting Scotts debut album like no other. Rihanna has even been attending several of his shows which definitely isn’t normal. This leads to rumors all over the internet that the two are together now and it honestly wouldn’t be that surprising they are both wild characters.
Logic had his debut album drop just last year called “Under Pressure” and it got great reviews. Fans have been waiting for news about an new project from the young rapper and it looks like news has finally come. Logic's sophomore album will be called “The Incredible True Story” and was announced via a video which looks pretty well made. Larry Johnson who is a writer is now suing 50 Cent for $200 million saying that 50 had stolen the idea for the show from one of his very own manuscripts. Johnson says that he actually submitted the said manuscript back in 2005 and it was called “Tribulation of a Ghetto Kid” to an employee of 50 named Nikki Turner. Similarities are they both main characters with a goatee who was a drug dealer wanting to become a businessman while owning the hottest night clubs in the ATL and NYC and have a partner with a hot temper. This is not a good lawsuit to have up with all the others 50 is currently in but keep it right here for updates.
DMX has been in jail since July serving a six month sentence and his son decided to take this opportunity to sell some of his very important stuff. TMZ is reporting that his son Xavier need some cash to give his own music career a boost and decided to sell his fathers platinum plaques on eBay. DMX left the plaques when he was kicked out of his house that he shared with Xavier and his mother back in 2007. The plaques for “And Then There Was X” and “Flesh of My Flesh, Blood of My Blood” have been posted on eBay for the sum of $3,000. Young Dolph was arrested in Memphis just yesterday after he was caught with marijuana and also had some vehicle registration charges too. Dolph had been pulled over at 2:45 PM because he had the wrong tags on his Rolls Royce and of course cops smelled marijuana when they approached and found that Dolph already had a warrant out on him. Kanye West saying he is going to run for president in the year 2020 has made a lot of people outside of the hip-hop universe turn their heads and see whats up. The New Yorker will feature Kanye West on the cover which will be the first rapper ever depicted on the prestigious magazines cover. The cover is comical because it has a water colored Kanye celebrating beating Donald Trump while holding up a newspaper that reads “TRUMP DEFEATS KANYE” which copies a famous photo of Harry Truman holding up the Chicago Tribune with the headline “DEWEY DEFEATS TRUMAN”. Illustrator of the image, Barry Blitt, says this “When one considers Mr. West, it doesn’t take a whole lot of imagination to be reminded of another scrappy kid who won the Presidency, back in 1948, against all odds. The press wrote him off, too. That’s right—Harry Truman.”
DJ Yella did an interview with VladTV where he revealed that he was the only member of N.W.A. to actually show up to Eazy-E’s funeral. "Some people probably just couldn’t take it, I don’t know what the reasons are. We never talked about it, even to this day. That subject will never get talked about.” Yella said. Yella also responded with this when asked about the conspiracies about how Eazy-E got Aids. “You never know, All we know is he died from [AIDS]. He had it, he was diagnosed with it, but we don’t know if somebody gave it to him [by] putting it in a syringe [or] whatever. We don’t know. We’ll never know. We just have to accept what it is. Daz Dillinger has got a cast together to make the Dog Pound biopic. This film seems to be happening really quickly with none of the cast from “Straight Outta Compton” involved who knows if it will be successful. The film is said to pick up with Dogg Pound and Death Row following careers of both Snoop Dogg and Tupac. In a new interveiw Fat Joe talks about this and says he actually passed on signing Eminem six times. “Man I got so many regrets, the biggest is that Eminem gave me so many demos – six different times he approached me and I didn’t sign him. Shame on me.” Eminem signed to Interscope in 1998 at 25 years old after giving the very same tape to the ceo Jimmy Lovine who gave the tape to Dr. Dre and history was made.
Meek Mill was headlining the Fools Gold Festival in Brooklyn and a fan of his decided to throw up a Drake sign during Meeks performance. This got Meeks attention real quick leading to him calling out the fan and he even went as far as to send a “shooter” from his crew to stand next to the fan. This is what Meek said to the fan “Put that Drake sign up again, nigga, fuck you talkin’ ’bout you fuckin’ clown.
