Coolio say he has not signed with Pornhub, the rapper from California said he just created a promo song for them and that he is not trying to make a comeback off of pornography. Matthew Blake is the Marketing and Communication manager for the site said "We met Colio and discussed the idea of him recording a song and us producing and exclusively releasing the music video. While on the shoot we talked about the idea of Colio working with us for future projects. The ideal would have to be beneficial for both sides, but Colio was great to work with and we're all incredibly excited to see the finished project."
Minister Louis Farrakhan was in attendance at the 10th annual Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival. While there he got a chance to see Jay Z and Jay Electronica perform. After his performance Electronica recieved some critism for using profanity while wearing the Fruit of Islam (FOI) uniform. Louis comment on the situation he said “very proud of the Fruit of Islam (F.O.I.) and the Believers who stood with Brother Jay Electronica as he delivered what he delivered to the people” at the Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival. Farrakhan also admits that Jay Electronica was not “perfect in his representation” of the Islamic beliefs, but reasoned why it was acceptable: "I humbly and respectfully ask: Has any of us who have accepted Islam and its required high degree of moral excellence and civilization ever said or done anything that is less than representative of what we believe? I am sure that all of us, if we are honest, would have to say that we have."
At the end of his performance Jay Z placed a 5 percenter chain over Electronica head and proclaimed "peace to the god" after witnessing that Farrakhan said "So, if someone offered me what Brother Jay Electronica was offered by Brother Jay Z, I too would accept it with the biggest smile on my face, for I too, as all of us in The Nation of Islam, are The Five Percent: Poor Righteous Teachers who are called to teach the 85 Percent, and free them from the chains of slavery and subservience as tools of the 10 Percent."
Talk show host Jimy Kimmel had recently asked Snoop is he ever smoked in the The White House. Snoop had this to say "In the bathroom" Not in the White House, but in the bathroom. Snoop asked "May I use the bathroom for a second?" They said "what are you going to do #1 or #2?" Snoop said "#2 when I do #2 I usually have a cigarette or light something to get the aroma right." Later in the show Jimmy joked the ABC doesn't allow it host to smoke marijuana on television, alluding to Snoop smoking on the show.
Ice Cube has a new track that receiving backlash from a few fans. The song in question is "Drop Girl" which is a collaboration with 2 Chainz and Redfoo. A few fan made a comment about the "Drop Girl video, she said "damn what a stupid song, why did Ice Cube have to do this sh*t it useless. Another fan said "it rotten" and the third person who made a comment said "hilarious. 2 stars for being funny."
Ice Cube respond to the criticism by saying " "To my hardcore fans, it's only one song,"says in a video the rapper posted on Instagram. "When you see your girl dance to this shit, you'll love me again." It's a dope record," he said. "It's Ice Cube. I'm not trying to reinvent the wheel at all. I'm just trying to be up to date with my topics and my flow."
A few weeks ago West gave club goers a sneak preview of his songs on his upcoming album. Some club goers enjoyed the new tracks while other said it was different but they liked it. West had this to say about his latest project. I think about certain lines that I say on my new single, which is called “All Day,” that usually Jay would say, but Jay’s not on there. So I say, ‘All day, n***a, it’s Ye, n***a. Shopping for the winter, it’s just May, n***a. Ball so hard, man, this shit cray, n***a. You ain’t getting money unless you got eight figures.’ Right? West had said in an interview he is not upset with Jay Z for not showing up at the wedding, he even praised Jay for Their "Watch The Throne" collaboration, West said "That’s what I like about Jay. He has longevity. He’s still at the top of relevancy from the way he moves, the way he interacts with people, his ability to brush things off of his shoulder and just win at life. Kendrick Lamar new album
Two years ago Kendrick Lamar released his debut album "good kid, mA.A.d city" Lamar is currently working on his new album. He reportedly has recorded 30 to 40 song for the album. Lamar do not feel pressure to match what he accomplished with his last album. He said “If I keep focusing on, ‘I need to make something better than good kid,’ it’s going to be just that,” says Kendrick. “That’s not challenging yourself. I don’t want to become that person reflecting on what has been done. What I’m doing now is the question. I’m only as good as my last word, my last hook, my last bridge.” The album do not have a title yet, and it will be released this year.
Master P has decided to turn his biography into a trilogy. The name of the 3 part movies is "The Ice Cream Man", "TRU" and "No Limit The Empire".
"Ice Cream Man" is the introduction to the three piece movie.
"TRU" the second part will show a glimpse of how the Miller brothers come together to form one of the most influential groups in Hip Hop.

Meek Mills lawyer submitted a request to the judge asking him to allow Mills to get out of jail early his request was denied. The rapper has been locked up since July 11th for a number of parole violation and he will remain there until September. Mills lawyer said "All I'm asking for is a hearing to learn why (his jailing) is constitutional and they won't even give me that." "The last thing I want to do is go running to another judge to tell another judge what to do. But we have no choice." Mill will have to file a request through his lawyer that will have the court go to a higher level judge to override the original judge.
Omarion arrested
Singer/actor Omarion was served with an arrest warrant and then arrested on Friday. The singer was in San Fernando Valley lateFriday morning and was pulled over for running a stop sign. Once the officer ran his license it revealed there was a warrant for arrest for failure to appear in court for a traffic ticket. Omari Grandberry, 29 aka Omarion was cuffed and taken to jail, he is being held on a $20,000 bond.
On July 18th a new actress has been cast to play R&B singer Aaliyah after the first actress Zendaya Coleman from the Disney channel dropped out. The new actress is Nickelodeon star Alexandra Shipp who is known for her role on House Of Anubis and she is reportedly going to appear in the movie sequel Drumline 2: A New Beat. The choosing of Ship was met with criticism due to her skin complexion. Debra Martin the executive producer of the film has this to say about the controversy:

Singer Drake and Chris Brown have been beefing for sometime but now it is over. There is a picture that shows the two in a recent studio session in Las Vegas and that where the beef came to an end. Drake and Chris is currently working on a project together say Mally Mall but he can not say exactly what but he did say "It's going to be dope sh*t though for sure..It's all love man, it's all love man, it's definitely love." It is not known if Rihanna was discussed during the reconciliation but Mall seems to think no work needed to be exchanged regarding her. Jay Z told Jeezy when he was writing a verse to the song "Seen It All" he had tears in his eyes. Jay said "it took him so far back to Marcy." Jeezy claims the same thing happen to him too. He said "every bar in the song was real" "I put my hand on the bible, I told myself when I wrote that record everything in this song gotta be true to me."
Jeezy said "Jay my dude," Jeezy says. "I'll never have nothing bad to say about Jay. He's such a stand-up dude." Jay and Jeezy have formed a bond over the years.
Canadian rapper Drake borrowed lines from Rappin 4-Tay song "Playaz Club" without Tay permission and now he has reportedly agreed to pay Tay $100,000. Tay and his manager Herman Watson say that the amount of $100,000 is not correct he is being paid much more. "There is royalties involved, and continuous payment." "They say this is forever, it is a part of his "Playaz Club" package." Tay was celebrating the agreement and said "when it come to Cash Money Records it all love." Drake is a fan of Tay, there seem to be no hard feelings. Tay will be working with Cash Money as time goes on. Tay said "Rappin’ 4-Tay also says that Drake doesn’t need to pay attention to people who criticize him. "Drake, get your money,” he says. "As a matter fact, also, lift up your shoes and step on them haters."
The producer of the N.W.A. bio movie have already cast the actors who would play Dr. Dre, Ice Cube and Eazy-E now there is a casting call for African American women who are in poor shape. The casting call was posted by Sande Allesi casting by mistake, the post said they were looking for four types of actresses. A, B, C and D women. A and B are described as "fine" "hottest of the hottest." Both A and B girls are light skinned women, with B being lighter skinned and A girl able to be a variety of skin tones and racial background, these girl must have real hair too. D girls are being described as "poor, and not in good shape. These girls must have medium to dark skin tone.

Nick Young who plays for the Los Angeles Lakers say Iggy was negatively affected by the backlash she received after Nick Minaj acceptance speech at the 2014 BET AWARDS. After Nicki speech Iggy posted on Instagram that she was "unbothered by anything that happened at the BET Awards." Nick said differently he said he had to deal with the aftermath of it all. He said when Iggy came home and was going through her phone hearing everybody talking trash about her I had to be there for her.
On July 2 Nicki posted on twitter that she had "congratulated Iggy on the success of "Fancy".
