Rich Homie Quan allegedly assaulted a club security guard

quan

Rich Homie Quan tried to use his rapper status to get into Club LIV in Miami this past weekend. But when that did not work for him he decided to get physical with the security. Early Monday morning Quan and crew tried getting through Club LIV’s VIP entrance but the security told them that the club was at capacity so he had to wait in the front of the club in line like everyone else. That is when Quan tried to use his status to gain entry by saying “I'm Rich Homie Quan and I'm a rich millionaire, (expletive). I'm coming through these doors. I'm with Flo Rida." The security guard says that Quan punched him twice in the face followed by his crew joining in. Right after the fight Quan and crew ran across the street and escaped via speedboat. With Miami Beach police currently investigating the incident they hope to get ahold of the rapper for questioning and possibly get him a battery charge.

earl

Earl Sweatshirt is not very happy with his management at Sony Music lately. The album he just released, “I Don’t Like Shit, I Don’t Go Outside”, on the 23rd only came out a week after it was announced. That same day Earl took to twitter and expressed how he felt about Sony saying “I WOULD LIKE TO PERSONALLY THANK @SonyMusicGlobal 4 FUCKING UP THE ROLL OUT PROCESS OF MY SHIT. SOMEONE GOTS 2 PAY 4 THEIR MISTAKES !" The day after his music video for his song “Grief” released which was another mistake made by Sony. Earl told NPR Music "I've never been behind myself this much. So for them to not treat as importantly as I was treating it was just like — I couldn't help but to feel a little disrespected, you know?" Hopefully things get straightened out with Earl and Sony and there are no more misunderstandings in the future so Earls fans can get the most out of his content.

T.I. has revealed the title for his upcoming album

t.iT.I. had an interview with HHS87 promoting the new movie “Get Hard” where he revealed that the next album in his trilogy album project will be called Traps Open. The reasoning T.I. gives for the name is simply that the album is going to be “unapologetically gangsta” with a heavy trap sound. There is no word about how far along the album is into production but T.I. didn’t mention any features that will be album just yet which doesn’t give us much to go on but T.I. fans can start getting excited for some new music in the near future.

A Glastonbury organizer defends their choice to have Kanye West headline a show

kanye

As previously reported the United Kingdom’s Glastonbury festival has been the subject of a lot of internet controversy for giving Kanye West a headlining act. People even got a petition up to nearly 100,000 signatures trying to stop Kanye from performing. But yesterday the festivals organizer Emily Eavis had a letter published to The Guardian that was in response to the petition. Emily right from the jump dismisses the Kanye haters saying "We think the story this year should not be: 'Why is Kanye coming?' but: 'How amazing is it that Kanye is coming?'” adding that he is a "music legend, always interesting, never boring." Eavis ends it with this "Those [headlining] acts have never have been limited to rock and never will be." It is a great thing that this letter was published and shows that Glastonbury will not back away from their commitments because of the vocal minority on the internet.
