Way back in July of 2014 there were reports that 50 Cent owed Webbie $1 million over a boxing match. Webbie was not happy when 50 Cent didn’t pay up but that has changed. To give you some perspective on the situation Webbie even went so far as to put a song out threatening 50 over the unpaid money. The money was never paid and the beef was squashed but now Webbie has said that 50 could pay him with a verse and has given him a week to do so. Is a 50 Cent verse really worth $1 million dollars these days?

Even though back on Friday Young Thug seemed to not want any problems with Lil Wayne it doesn’t seem that way anymore after the promo video he dropped on Instagram. In the video a woman is narrating a bunch of clips from Young Thug performances saying “Big Killa, young nigga, young fucking money…fuck you I kill you” she says until the voice fades. After that the words “Barter 6” comes up in red text which could possibly mean a name change from the original “Carter 6” title but that still remains to be confirmed. Drake, last night, took to the Coachella stage at around midnight closing out the show. Drake performed hits like “trophies”, “we made it”, and some of his newest songs off of his album “If You’re Reading This Its Too Late”. After performing his song “Madonna” the queen of pop herself at 56 years old got on stage and performed some of her own songs. Before leaving the stage though she walked up behind a chair drake was sitting on and surprised Drake with a short make out session leaving Drizzy Drake in a state of shock.

Something that not everyone may know is that J. Cole actually graduated from St. John’s University a ways back but for the simple fact that he didn’t return a library book the degree was withheld. But that changed recently when Cole returned to the University and did a show and though he didn’t bring the book back the school waived him of his pending fee and gave him his degree. The school seems quite happy with Cole and the success he found in rap even though he did graduate Summa cum laude with a 3.82 GPA.

Last year Drakes OVO fest got special funding from the Canadian government to the tune of $300,000 but this year the money will have to come out of OVO’s own pocket. Apparently OVO fest didn’t meet all of the required qualifications to warrant a special grant for the event. But either way people are going to show up in droves to see this two day event with a line up consisting of Big Sean, YG, Jeremih, and J. Cole and a comedy show from Kevin Hart and Drake headlining the event of course. The lineup is great but is it worth $300,000 out of OVO’s pocket this time around? The event is sold out so the odds of it being worth it are very good.

Beyonce’s sister Solange Knowles’s creative partner, Armina Mussa is in critical condition after she suffered multiple stab wounds in New Orleans. Solange traveled to New Orleans to be by Mussa’s side and she is said to have been attacked by a woman named Arronesia Christophe who is a friend of her roommate. Arronesia has been charged with attempted murder of the second degree and is being held on $50,000 bail. Another bit of information is Christophe is the project director of Solange’s Saint Heron label and co-owns a boutique with the singer also. Keep it locked for more information on this situation.

Way back in 2013 Justin Bieber was said to have ordered his bodyguards to attack a photographer while in Argentina. Reps of Bieber initially said that the problem was resolved but that doesn’t seem to be the case anymore. Back in November Bieber was ordered back to the country within a 60 day period but he never showed and now a Buenos Aires judge has issued an order for his arrest. The judge’s words were as follows according to TMZ "I consider it pertinent to order the immediate detention of the accused.” Though they cannot actually force Bieber to return but if he does ever return it looks like he’ll be given to authorities fairly quickly.

Well the beef is on now from one side at least Lil Wayne did a show last night and paused during it to express his feelings towards Young Thug. In a video of the show Wayne is seen and heard saying “stop listening to songs of niggas who pose naked on their motherfucking album covers”. This is a direct shot at Young Thug who just yesterday posted his album cover for “The Carter VI. Now Young Thug has responded to this diss with a video basically saying he wants no problems with Wayne because he looks up to him but we see what happens next. One of the greatest things about a lot of festivals these days is people that aren’t able to actually go there can still watch from the comfort of their own homes. This will not be the case for Drakes set at the upcoming Coachella music festival. Though there will still be live streamed coverage of many high profile performances at the show this year Drizzy Drake has opted out of a live broadcast which is maybe because Drake likes to keep his performances exclusive to the people who actually travel to go see it. AC/DC has also opted out of the live streaming so Jack White will be the only headliner who live streams to all his fans at home.

As you know if you keep up with all the hip-hop news DMX was accused last week of robbing a man at a gas station in Newark. DMX is now talking saying that the robbery never even took place. "I have no idea what it's about. It comes with the territory... It's not the first thing I've been accused of that I didn't do. If I did it, you'd have known about it, but I wouldn't be able to travel as freely as I do, if I did it. My lawyer assured me there's nothing to worry about." X said and when asked about what really went down he added "We stopped at a gas station. I don't recall any incident happening, I make way more than that during a show, so why would I want that kind of trouble for myself?" DMX expressed all of this to TMZ check out the full video below.

Wais P is a Brooklyn rapper who has been calling his music “pimp hop” since the early 2000s. Now this lifestyle has backfired on him getting him in trouble with police. The NYPD has a “Bright Lights, Big City” campaign going on that is there to try and stop sex trafficking in the city which lead to Wais being charged for promoting prostitution. At first Wais was just brought into Manhattan Supreme Court for a DWI and then was apprehended on sex trafficking charges. According to documents found by NY daily News, Wais “advanced and profited from prostitution by managing, supervising, controlling, and owning” a whole prostitution enterprise with two or more prostitutes and is now being held without bail.

While doing a show last night in L.A. Ariana Grande brought out Justin Bieber to do her song “Love Me Harder” and his song “As Long As You Love Me.” But during the songs Justin Bieber would not keep his hands off of Ariana who is currently in a relationship with Big Sean. Sean took to twitter to express his feelings towards Biebers performance saying “This kid is about to learn not to touch my girl like that. Spike Lee is making a movie called Chiraq and has cast some of hip-hops greatest to ever come out of Chicago to be in the film. This movies cast includes big names like Common, Kanye West, Samuel L. Jackson and Jeremy Piven. The movie will be on Amazon Instant and no other details about it have surfaced so far. But hopefully with the talents involved this movie is good and gives us more movies like it.

Princeton is holding its annual Lawnparties event and a promo clip for the event featured Big Seans song “IDFWU” which some students did not like. Now some students have started a petition to stop Big Sean from performing at the school. One student by the name of Duncan Hosie took it upon himself to dig up damaging information about Sean and found plenty of misogyny in his backlog. In Big Seans song “Dance (A$$)” he uses the line “if she look good she pay me in sex” and now that line is being posted on posters all around the campus with another line saying “Want to take this down? Take down Big Sean”. But according to contractual obligations organizers of the event say the show will most likely happen anyways.

Well in a time where albums are really dropping out of nowhere this really shouldn’t be a surprise but somehow it is. Tyler, The Creator is set to drop an album in a weeks’ time and it will be called “Cherry Bomb”. Details about the album have also surfaced like the fact that Kanye, Pharrell, Lil Wayne, Schoolboy Q, and Kali Uchis are all featured on this album in some form.  With Kanye and Wayne both appearing on the same track a lot of fans are very hyped to take a listen to this collaboration.
