After lashing out at Drake and Kanye Ex label mate Kid Cudi checked himself into rehab. The Ex Good Music rapper has a lot of emotions built up and hasn’t felt good in years, so the famous rapper checked himself into rehab, he feels he is a damaged human and had thoughts of hurting himself. Kid Cudi album will still be released on time and he wants his fans to know he is sorry and will be back reborn stronger and better, he feeling like shit, and feels ashamed.

As the presidential election heats up and grows closer, members of the Hip Hop community are coming forward publicizing their picks for the next leader of our nation.  Amidst it all, Puff Daddy called GOP nominee Donald Trump “a friend” at a recent appearance at Macy’s flagship store in New York.  While promoting his new Sean John cologne, the rap mogul had some words of praise for the businessman-turned-politician.  Diddy is quoted saying “I always liked Donald’s style, and I do have a tie he gifted me. And I wear it.”  But Puffy says Trump’s style and recent swag hasn’t necessarily won him over when it comes to November 8.  “As far as voting for him, that has yet to be seen,” he says.  In 2015, Diddy had expressed cynicism about the political process in that year, despite once being the founder of the “Vote Or Die” campaign; an effort to get to get younger Americans to become registered voters.  “At the end of the day I’m not telling you not to vote,” Diddy said at a conference in 2015. “But I’m saying be a realist, do your research and know that the political machine; they motherfucking kicking some bullshit up there.”  

Kim Kardashian is safely back in NYC with her husband and family, arriving amidst a gauntlet of security that rivals any world leader or head of state.  There was an undeniable show of force as Kim, Kanye, Kris Jenner and Corey Gamble pulled up outside their NYC residence.  Clearly not a publicity stunt but rather a “by any means necessary” decision, they had a caravan of approximately 10 vehicles with 15-20 bodyguards watching everything and everyone in the area. Some from the NYPD were also on scene.  The amount of security was insane as mentioned above, something like what you see when POTUS makes an appearance.  Interestingly, Pascal Duvier, Kim’s bodyguard was still with them. As reported earlier, Duvier he was not at the apartment with Kim when the armed robbery went down.

5 armed gunmen broke into Kim Kardashian‘s Paris apartment, taped her mouth shut and stole a reportedly more than $10 million in jewelry.  The news of the crime quickly rippled its way to New York … where Kanye was in the middle of performing his hit “Heartless” when concert goers witnessed a member of the rapper’s entourage interrupt the performance and whisper something to Kanye.  He immediately made a brief comment to the crowd that there had been a family emergency and that he was leaving.  Kanye then bolted from the stage mid-concert. The gunmen, posing as cops, threatened the hotel concierge and made him open the door to her room.  TMZ sources say at least 2 gunmen bound and gagged Kim with handcuffs and tape and then put her in the bathtub. We’re told Kim pleaded for her life be spared, telling them she had babies at home.  It appears the gunmen knew exactly what they were doing, beelining it for her jewelry and are believed to have taken a $4.5 million ring and a jewelry box.

After the gunmen left Kim was able to break out of the restraints and called for help.  TMZ has been quoted saying  “We’re told Kim was badly shaken but unharmed, calling it “the worst moment in my life.” She was interviewed by police and then immediately left Paris by private jet.

 

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have been known to have a tight group of friends they trust, but could a member of their inner circle have betrayed the famous couple Sunday night?  The pair’s bodyguard, Steve Sanulis, speculates the shocking robbery may have been orchestrated by a friend or family member who knew everything about Kim’s whirlwind Paris fashion week trip.  “It definitely could have been an inside job,” the Silver Shield Security LLC owner and actor is quoted as saying. “Somebody had to know how to get in the private entrance. How would they know how to get there, how would they know security was absent, how did they know that she was going to be by herself?”  The thieves “were either very lucky, or knew the situation.”  As previously reported, Kardashian, 35, was tied up by a group of at least 5 armed gunmen posing as policemen who then proceeded to rob her of an estimated $10 million in jewels that were reportedly found missing from her Paris apartment.  Earlier today, Stanulis told news agencies that the vicious attack could have been prevented had proper security measures been taken.  “If they had had the right person, this wouldn’t have happened,” the safety expert said, explaining that West, 39, and momager Kris Jenner should always have hired trained,and armed guards following the reality star.  Kardashian is now holed up with West and mother Kris Jenner inside her New York City apartment. Pals including Jonathan Cheban, Simon Huckand Lala Anthony have all stopped by to comfort the distraught star.

 

September 30, 2016 a public viewing was held for(Carlos Walker) Shawty Lo in Atlanta hundreds of fans showed up to pay their respect to the DFL member, Rick Ross, Young Dolph and Royce da 5’9″ will hit the stage to honor the late rapper.  The viewing took place at Mt Carmel Baptist Church after the funeral Shawty Lo casket was driven around Atlanta for one last ride threw the city. “RIP Shawty Lo”

Meek Mill continued his beef with Beanie Sigel and The Game on his Hot 97 freestyle today (September 30) with Funkmaster Flex.  “Niggas talk about me / They see me and never say shit / Keep ’em suckas dipping and dodging like it’s The Matrix / Heart full of hatred / Show it on the internet / Weirdo niggas in my comments, but we ain’t into that,” he raps, and telling why he turned off his Instagram comments. Beanie Sigel blasted the rapper for reading too much into what the “peanut gallery” was saying and thought that was most likely the reason he turned off his Instagram comments.  After he posted a supposed text message from Sigel on Instagram, Meek Mill took more swipes at Beans in the freestyle for questioning his stake in the City of Brotherly love.  “They like Meek Milly won’t you spit that crack again/Fake niggas up here bring us back again/Riding down Broad Street I’m in that back again, I bully niggas I’m like Mack again, Philly,” he spits, referencing the Broad Street Bully, which happens to be the name of Sigel’s 5th album.  He continues on in the cypher taking shots at those who doubt his relationship with his girlfriend Nicki Minaj. Sigel said that part of the reason tension between him and Meek has escalated was because Meek shared some private information with the legend that he shouldn’t have. The Game also jumped in with his beef by threatening to give the Queens MC the “pool stick.”  “Posted up with Nicki/That’s when it get tricky/Niggas in they feelings/That’s when it get Drizzy,” Meek raps, throwing some shade at Drake, too. Funkmaster Flex fueled their their beef as he released Drake’s apparent reference tracks after Meek claimed his OVO foe used a ghostwriter.

Meek Mill wraps up his seven-minute freestyle with some final words for The Game and his social media bullying.  “Kill ’em with success / They gonna kill me with emojis / Kill me with a meme / You pussies never could expose me,”.

Freddie Gibbs is a free man. A Vienna Austria high court has found Gibbs not guilty of the alleged rape he was accused of over a year ago.  The Gary, Indiana rapper was found not guilty by the European court, according to a statement provided to HipHopDX from his attorney.  Gibbs was charged with “sexual abuse of a defenseless or psychologically impaired person” after allegedly drugging and raping a woman while on tour in Austria in July 2015. He was arrested in France during his tour this past June and later extradited to Austria where he was officially charged with rape.  In August, he was released on bail.  If found guilty, Gibbs would have faced up to 10 years in a foreign jail.  The 34-year-old maintained his innocence throughout the process.

It’s yet to be seen how the allegations will affect the artist’s career. Freddie and his family look forward to returning to the States so he can resume his life and career.

October marks the the time of year when the brilliant light of the one of the most prolific MC’s to ever grace the stage left us.  Micheal “Eyedea” Larsen began his extraordinary career at the tender age of 12. Raised by a fierce single mother who unconditionally supported her son, Mikey’s talent soared and his house was filled with wayward, misunderstood kids that he had met along the way. Coming from broken homes with nowhere to go, Mikey brought the needy home with him.  He never asked his struggling, single mother if this guy or if this girl was welcome to stay with them.  He would just tell his mom when she got home that this is so-and-so and that they will be staying in the house for a while.  
Around 11 or 12 Mikey would put on weekly shows on a stage he built out of pallets in his mom’s backyard, first mastering break dancing as part of the local Minneapolis group Battle Cats, bragging how he could freestyle and spin on his head at the same time; his ultimate calling would be to become THE MASTER MC.  In his mind, the road began with Battle Rap. He told me once that if you can’t articularly rap fast, you were a sucker MC.  In the late 1990’s Eyedea began his battle rap tour, destroying every freestyle MC in his path.  Soundset, Scribble Jam, and ultimately being honored as the only white MC to compete in the last Blaze Battle in NYC in 2000. Broadcasted live on HBO and hosted by KRS1, the Grand prize was $10,000 or a recording contract with the newly formed Bad Boy Records headed up by Puff Daddy.  The Blaze Battle was effortless for Eyedea. No one could keep up…none of the MC’s that had gone through the same struggle to get on that New York stage had heard of or were ready for what Eyedea was about to serve.  Eyedea won…a white, skinny, crooked toothed 17 yr old from Minneapolis severed a beating on the competition.  During the time of the battles, Mikey and Maxx (Eyedea and Abilities) released an independent album Six Sense.

NBA superstar D Rose of the New York Knicks is fighting a rape charge against his accuser Jane Doe, Jane has been slandering Derrick Rose name in the press and social media. D.Rose is fighting to get her name released to the public and she is fighting back to keep her name private. Derrick is taking a page from Tupac Shakur’s old sexual assault case, in 1993 a judge forced Tupac’s accuser to reveal her name to the public she tried to use a pseudonym to protect her identity. Tupac served 9 months in prison lets hope that D Rose isn’t convicted of something he didn’t do.

Fetty Wap well known for his hit single “Trap Queen” which is 4x platinum, might need to cut a check and share some of the profits. Lazar Lakic claims he purchased the exclusive rights to the beat in 2014 and it was called “Hello” from producer Tony Fadd. The Danish producer has proof and was also contacted by Tony in attempt to buy the beat back in 2015 be he declined. Lazar is seeing for his share of the profits and wants all copies of the hit song “Trap Queen” destroyed , Fetty Wap says if sued he will go after Tony Fadd for damages.

The Game is going hard on Meek Mill “Back to Back” with no signs of him backing off. Im not sure where this beef is heading but one thing i do know that it doesn’t look good. The mess started with chatter from Meek telling Sean Kingston his jewelry was jacked by The Games homies, which lead to a visit from the police and The Game didn’t like that, i mean who would like someone snitching. Game responded with 92Bars the track was fire, then Meek got Beanie and Omelly in the studio and came up with a even hotter track “OOOUUU” they brought that heat on that track. The next day game hits the studio with “Pest Control” and gave everyone the business, Beanie said he wants nothing to do with it and everything is cool and claim to ghost write on the track “OOOUUU” witch lead to Beanie getting knocked out in his own hood. The Meek Mill and Game Beef just got serious and now is effecting others, it started off when The Games name was mentioned to police when Sean Kingston was robbed for his jewelry in a club in LA. The beef between the two rappers was expressed in their music, Game came with a hot 92 Bars, Meek responded with “OOOUUU”.  The Meek Mill track was hot but Beanie Sigel claimed to write parts of the song, and was going to stay clear of the beef because he is cool with The Game. Teefy Bey a good friend of Meek took the ghost writing and supporting Game and a Dis on their hood and when he ran into Beanie he let it be known and knocked him out, The Games name was mentioned and it seems like a big step in the wrong direction check out the video for yourself.

Lil Wayne is one up on Birdman in the $51 million dollar lawsuit, Birdman and his flock of lawyers were ordered to hand over his receipts. The Cash Money Millionaire claim to already hand over 20 thousand pages of receipts to Weezy and Lawyers but they want more! i guess the math is wrong.  Weezy lawyers claim that the receipts were useless and their are more to connect the money trail, Birdman some how burned $70 million dollars that him and Weezy were suppose to split, we will see what Cash money comes up with.

According to Lil Wayne’s tell all book i don’t think he really agrees with the hit song  “It Aint No Fun If The Homie Cant Have None”. When the 32 year old famous rapper Weezy was in prison for gun possession, his homie Drake was on the creep, yes Drake broke the bro code and Smh Lil Wayne’s girlfriend. Im not sure what made Drake think it was all good, but i guess it was, or if it was his main piece, i guess it didn’t matter to the Toronto rapper. To make things worse he told Weezy while locked up, “Yeah, it’s true. Don’t f*** with her like that cause I did f*** her ,  it almost ruined Drake and Wayne’s relationship and he had something to say about it, “This is the type of s*** that a man never wants to find out when he’s locked up. Or, maybe so, cause only God knows what I would have done if I wasn’t locked up right now. I woke up feeling f***** up about the f***** up day that I had … finding out that she f***** Drake was the absolute worst thing I could’ve ever found out. As a man, honestly, that s*** hurt … and not because it was Drake, it could have been any man. It would’ve hurt the same.” The tell all book might not be a bad buy.
